2015 Central League Climax Series
The 2015 Central League Climax Series (CLCS) was a post-season playoff consisting of two consecutive series that determined who would represent the Central League in the Japan Series. The First Stage was a best-of-three series and the Final Stage was a best-of-six with the top seed being awarded a one-win advantage. Yomiuri Giants
The are a Japanese professional baseball team competing in Nippon Professional Baseball's Central League. Based in Bunkyo, Tokyo, they are one of two professional baseball teams based in Tokyo, the other being the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. They have played their home games in the Tokyo Dome since its opening in 1988. Kosuke Fukudome
is a retired Japanese professional baseball outfielder. He previously played in Major League Baseball from 2008 to 2012, primarily with the Chicago Cubs and had a long spanning career in the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) with the Chunichi Dragons and Hanshin Tigers. Prior to arriving in the MLB, Fukudome played nine seasons for the Chunichi Dragons of the Nippon Professional Baseball. Atsushi Nomi
is a former Japanese professional baseball pitcher. He played for the Hanshin Tigers in the Central League for most of his career. He ended his career as a player-coach for the Orix Buffaloes of the Pacific League. Early baseball career Nōmi attended Tottori Jōhoku High School. In his 3rd year, he pitched a perfect game during the Spring Prefecture Tournament. Along with Komoya Tamaguchi and Kei Igawa, they were called the "left-handed high-school trio." Aaron Anderman Poreda (born October 1, 1986) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. A first-round pick of the Chicago White Sox in the 2007 draft who threw a 97 mile-per-hour fastball, Poreda was named by '' Baseball America'' in the offseason as the White Sox minor leaguer who was closest to the major leagues. He also began 2008 ranked by ''Baseball America'' as the White Sox organization's #1 prospect, and as having the best fastball. Leslie Anderson Stephes (born March 30, 1982, in Guantánamo) is a first baseman/outfielder who is currently a free agent. Career Anderson previously played for the Cuban national baseball team and Camagüey of the Cuban National Series. He was part of Cuba's roster at the 2006 and 2009 World Baseball Classics. Anderson, who is primarily a center fielder, hit .363 during the 2005-06 season. Matthew Henry Murton (born October 3, 1981) is an American former professional baseball outfielder.
