Group A of the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup was one of three groups competing of nations at the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The group's matches were played in July. 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup
The 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the 13th edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup competition and the 23rd CONCACAF regional championship overall in the organization's fifty-four years of existence. It was held in the United States, with two matches being played in Canada, marking the first time the CONCACAF Gold Cup was played in that country. Mexico won the competition after surviving both the quarter-finals and semi-finals in controversial circumstances, defeating Jamaica – the first Caribbean nation to reach such a stage – in the final. Of the co-hosts, Canada was eliminated in the group stage, while the United States, the defending champions, lost in the semi-finals to Jamaica. 2014 Caribbean Cup
The 2014 Caribbean Cup was the 18th edition of the Caribbean Cup, an international football competition for national teams of member nations affiliated with the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) of the CONCACAF region. The final competition stage (8 teams) was scheduled for 11–18 November. On 18 March 2014, it was announced that Jamaica would host the final stage. For the first time, the competition and its qualifying stages were scheduled to take place during officially sanctioned FIFA international match periods. The change was made to assist the national Football Associations selecting high profile Caribbean players whose clubs would be otherwise reluctant to lose the players service while on international duty. Jaime Penedo
Jaime Manuel Penedo Cano (born 26 September 1981) is a Panamanian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper for various teams such as: Osasuna B, CSD Municipal, LA Galaxy, Deportivo Saprissa and Dinamo București, among others, but also for the Panama national team, being the goalkeeper of the first squad of Panama that ever played in a World Cup. Penedo announced his retirement on 24 January 2019. Club career Penedo began his career with Estudiantes de Panamá F.C. and made his first team debut in 2000. Alberto Abdiel Quintero Medina (born 18 December 1987) is a Panamanian professional footballer who plays for Peruvian club Cienciano and the Panama national team as a winger.
