2015 CONCACAF Awards
The 2015 CONCACAF Awards is the third year for CONCACAF's awards for the top region football players, coaches and referees of the year. The shortlists were published on 12 January 2016. The results were announced on 22 January 2016. Chicago Red Stars
The Chicago Red Stars are a professional women's soccer club based in Bridgeview, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. A founding member of the Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) league, they have played in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) since 2013. WPS was the NWSL's predecessor as the professional women's soccer league in the United States, and the Red Stars played in the WPS in 2009 and 2010. After leaving the WPS in December 2010 due to the league's financial issues, the club joined the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) for the 2011 season. In 2012, the Red Stars co-founded and played in Women's Premier Soccer League Elite (WPSL-E): a one-year league which bridged the WPS and the NWSL. Jill Ellis
Jillian Anne Ellis (born 6 September 1966) is an English-American soccer coach and executive who is currently the president of San Diego Wave FC. Ellis coached the United States women's national soccer team from 2014 to October 2019 and won two FIFA Women's World Cups in 2015 and 2019, making her the second coach to win consecutive World Cups. She stepped away from being USWNT’s head coach in October 2019 and currently serves as an ambassador for the United States Soccer Federation, with her focus being on working with the federation to help raise the number of women in coaching. Michelle Jenny Betos (born February 20, 1988) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for NJ/NY Gotham FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Betos previously played for Vålerenga, Apollon Limassol, Portland Thorns FC, New York Fury, OL Reign, and Racing Louisville FC. Michele Kathryn Dalton (born November 5, 1988) is an American professional soccer goalkeeper, who currently plays for Apollon Ladies of the Cypriot First Division. Kimika Sanell Forbes (born 26 August 1990) is a Tobagonian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Colombian club Millonarios FC and the Trinidad and Tobago women's national team, which she represents since 2006.
