2015 CFU Club Championship
The 2015 CFU Club Championship was the 17th edition of CFU Club Championship, the annual international club football competition in the Caribbean region, held amongst clubs whose football associations are affiliated with the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). The top three teams in the tournament qualified for the 2015–16 CONCACAF Champions League. Central won the tournament by defeating fellow Trinidadian side W Connection in the final. Both teams qualified for the Champions League, along with Montego Bay United of Jamaica, who defeated Haitian side Don Bosco in the third place game. The first round was held in April 2015 at sites in Haiti, Guyana, and Trinidad and Tobago. The final round was played in May 2015 in Trinidad and Tobago. Central Football Club is a Trinidad and Tobago professional football club, based in California, that plays in the TT Pro League. Founded in 2012, the ''Sharks'' were the 21st team to join the Pro League and plays its home matches in Ato Boldon Stadium located in nearby Couva. Alpha United FC
Alpha United Football Club is a Guyanese football club based in Providence. The club competes in the GFF Elite League, the top league of football in Guyana. They were league champions in the 2009–10, 2010, 2012, 2012–13, and 2013–14 seasons. In 2011, Alpha United gained recognition as being the first Guyanese football club to qualify for the CONCACAF Champions League, North America's premier continental club tournament. Lyford Cay FC (Dragons)
Renegades Football Club (formerly known as Lyford Cay Football Club) is a Bahamian football club based in Lyford Cay while playing its home game in the capital Nassau. The team plays in the BFA Senior League. The team is also known by its nickname of the Ospreys (the Dragons until 2015), to distinguish it from a second Lyford Cay FC that has simultaneously played in the BFA Senior League (as recently as 2013–14) nicknamed the "Warriors". The Warriors serve as the reserve team for the Ospreys. The SAP Football Club is an Antiguan football team playing in the Antigua and Barbuda Premier Division. It is based in Bolans. SAP stands for Spirit, Attitude & Performance. History SAP Football Club originated in 1979 in Bolans Village by a group of friends who were often considered outcast by the villagers. As of such, the guys did everything together; ate, prayed, smoke, attended school, worked and played football together. A customary practice for the fellas was cooking and naming their dishes. These names range from, Yham Till You Drop, Bun Up Joe, Belly Full, Bun Bottom etc. However, they frequently cooked a meal called Sappy Rice. So when the guys decided to form a football team in 1977 to play in the Bolans Community League they called their team Sappy, a derivation from the dish Sappy Rice.
