The 2015 Brasil Tennis Cup was a women's tennis tournament played on clay court, outdoor clay courts. It was the 3rd edition of the Brasil Tennis Cup, in the WTA International tournaments, International category of the 2015 WTA Tour. WTA International Tournaments
The WTA International Tournaments was a category for professional tennis tournaments of the Women's Tennis Association from the 2009 WTA Tour until 2020, which replaced the previous Tier III and Tier IV categories. The winner of a WTA International adds 280 points to her WTA ranking. For the 2020 season, there were 32 tournaments, all knock-out tournaments with a prize money for every event at $275,000 ($775,000 for Shenzhen, and $525,000 for Guangzhou and Hong Kong). Luisa Stefani
Luisa Veras Stefani (born 9 August 1997) is a Brazilian professional tennis player. She is the first Brazilian woman to crack the WTA top 10. She made the milestone on 1 November 2021 when she rose two places to world No. 9 in doubles. On 20 May 2019, she reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 431. She had a career-high combined junior ranking of No. 10, on 30 March 2015. Stefani is a bronze medalist in women's doubles from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Sara Sorribes Tormo (; born 8 October 1996) is a Spanish professional tennis player. Sorribes Tormo has won one singles title and three doubles titles on the WTA Tour, as well as one doubles title on the WTA Challenger Tour.
