The 2015 Duo BRDC Formula 4 Autumn Trophy was a two-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars held across England, as an off-season trophy to the BRDC Formula 4 Championship The GB3 Championship is a single seater motorsport series based in the United Kingdom. The trophy featured a mix of professional motor racing teams and privately funded drivers, and also featured the debut of the new 2-litre 230-bhp Tatuus-Cosworth single seat race car that will be used from the 2016 BRDC Formula 4 Championship season onwards. BRDC Formula 4 Championship
The GB3 Championship is a single seater motorsport series based in the United Kingdom. The championship is the UK's premier single-seater category, and is aimed at young racing drivers moving up from FIA Formula 4 championships or Karting. Having previously been known since 2013 as the BRDC Formula 4 Championship, the championship was renamed the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship with the backing of the FIA in March 2016. The championship was rebranded to GB3 Championship in August 2021. Al Faisal Al Zubair (born 17 April 1998) is an Omani racing driver. Career In 2015, Al-Faisal Al-Zubair competed in the international field of the BRDC British Formula 4 racing, where he collected one podium finish and was placed fourth overall in the Autumn Trophy. He graduated to the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship with Fortec Motorsports in 2016. Hillspeed is a motor racing team based in the United Kingdom. They currently participate in the GB3 Championship and the GB4 Championship. The team was founded in 1970 in order to run the British Saloon Car Championship entry of Morgan Ollerenshaw. In subsequent years, the team focused primarily on single-seater racing. Later, the company would also be involved in high performance road cars. Ben Barnicoat (born 20 December 1996) is a British racing driver who currently serves as a McLaren factory racing driver, while also competing in the 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship for Project 1 Motorsport. He has previously raced in the 2020 FIA Formula 3 Championship, and was a part of the McLaren young driver programme from 2010 to 2015. Career Karting Born in Chesterfield, Barnicoat began his racing career in karting at the age of nine. Lando Norris (born 13 November 1999) is a Belgian-British racing driver currently competing in Formula One with McLaren, racing under the British flag. He won the MSA Formula championship in 2015, and the Toyota Racing Series, Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup in 2016. Fortec Motorsport Ltd. is a motor-racing team that races in the GB3 Championship. The team was bought in 1995 by current owner Richard Dutton. Past drivers for the team include Juan Pablo Montoya, Gianmaria Bruni, Danny Watts, Jamie Green, James Rossiter, Mike Conway, Fabio Carbone and Heikki Kovalainen.
