2015 All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship
The 2015 All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship was the 32nd staging of the All-Ireland hurling championship for players in the intermediate grade since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1961. The championship began on 26 May 2015 and ended on 8 August 2015. Cork were the defending champions, however, they were defeated by 0-23 to 0-14 by Galway in the final. James Skehill
James Skehill (born 22 February 1988) is an Irish hurler who plays as a goalkeeper for club side Cappataggle and previously at inter-county level with the Galway senior hurling team. Playing career University During his studies at the Limerick Institute of Technology, Skehill was selected for the college's senior hurling team. On 10 March 2007, he won a Fitzgibbon Cup medal as LIT won the title after a 2-16 to 0-13 defeat of the NUI Galway in the final. Club Skehill joined the Cappataggle club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels before joining the club's top adult team. On 9 November 2008, Skehill was on the panel when Cappataggle defeated Killimordaly by 1-10 to 0-11 in the final of the Galway Intermediate Championship. The Leinster Intermediate Hurling Championship is an inter county competition between the Intermediate Hurling county teams in the province of Leinster. Liam McGrath (hurler, Born 1993)
Liam McGrath is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling and Gaelic football with his local club Loughmore-Castleiney and with the Tipperary senior inter-county team since 2014. Conor Whelan (born 31 October 1996) is an Irish hurler who plays as a right corner forward for club side Kinvara and at inter-county level for the Galway senior hurling team. Brian Molloy (hurler)
Brian Molloy (born 9 September 1995) is an Irish hurler. At club level, he plays with Kilnadeema–Leitrim and he has also lined out at inter-county level with various Galway teams. Career Molloy first played hurling to a high standard as a student at St. Brigid's Vocational School in Loughrea. He was part of the school's senior team that won the All-Ireland Vocational Schools SHC title in 2011. He later lined out with Maynooth University in the Fitzgibbon Cup, while he also captured a Kehoe Cup title in 2017. At club level, Molloy first played at juvenile and underage levels with Kilnadeema–Leitrim, before eventually progressing to adult level. Shane Moloney (born 4 March 1993) is an Irish hurler who plays as a corner-forward for the Galway senior team. At club level he plays with Tynagh-Abbey/Duniry. Moloney captained Galway as they won the All-Ireland title in 2011 where he scored 1-9 in the final against Dublin. On 16 August 2015, he came on as a substitute with five minutes remaining in Galway's All-Ireland Senior Hurling Semi-final against Tipperary. The GAA Hurling Intermediate All-Ireland Championship, known simply as the All-Ireland Intermediate Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). Effectively contested by the second string teams of the top inter-county hurling sides in Ireland, the tournament has taken place every year since 1997—having originally been run between 1961 and 1973. The final, currently held in July, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during the early summer, and the results determine which team receives the Michael Cusack Cup. Páirc Uí Rinn (), also known as Páirc Chríostóir Uí Rinn, is a Gaelic Athletic Association stadium located between Ballinlough and Ballintemple in Cork. It was previously known as Flower Lodge and was used as an association football stadium. Gaelic Grounds
The Gaelic Grounds, know for sponsorshop reasons as the TUS Gaelic Grounds, is the principal GAA stadium in the Irish city of Limerick, home to the Limerick hurling and football teams. It has a capacity of 44,023. History 9 October 1926 saw first steps taken towards creating the Limerick Gaelic Grounds as a GAA stadium of note. A farm containing was purchased at Coolraine on the Ennis Road for development as a sporting grounds. Two years later the new grounds officially opened with two junior hurling games. The first big effort to raise funds for the development of the grounds was in 1932, with the establishment of a development committee, whose remit was to level the pitch, providing sideline seating and erect a boundary wall. The Semple Stadium is the home of hurling and Gaelic football for Tipperary GAA and for the province of Munster.
