Liam McGrath is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling and Gaelic football with his local club Loughmore-Castleiney and with the Tipperary senior inter-county team since 2014. Career McGrath captained Tipperary to win the 2011 All-Ireland Minor Football Championship. He was named in the Tipperary squad for the 2014 National Hurling League and made his league debut on 15 February against Waterford when he came on as a substitute. Loughmore-Castleiney is an ecclesiastical parish in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly. It is located in County Tipperary, Ireland. The Munster Senior Football Championship, known simply as the Munster Championship and shortened to Munster SFC, is an annual inter-county Gaelic football competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). A captain of a Gaelic games team, sometimes known as a ''skipper'', is a player who, during the course of a match as well as before and after it, has several additional roles and responsibilities over and above those of his teammates. The Munster Minor Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1928 for the youngest competitors (under-18) in the province of Munster in Ireland. It is currently sponsored by Electric Ireland and therefore officially known as the Electric Ireland Munster GAA Football Minor Championship. The Electric Ireland All-Ireland Minor Football Championship is the premier under-17 "knockout" competition in Gaelic football played in Ireland. 2017 was the final year of the minor under 18 football championship as it were replaced by an under 17 championship following a vote at the GAA congress on 26 February 2016. The 2016 Tipperary Senior Football Championship was the 126th edition of the Tipperary GAA's premier club Gaelic football tournament for senior graded teams in County Tipperary, Ireland. The tournament consisted of 16 teams (15 clubs and 1 divisional side) with the winner going on to represent Tipperary in the Munster Senior Club Football Championship. The 2014 Tipperary Senior Football Championship began in the summer of 2014. Loughmore-Castleiney GAA, Loughmore-Castleiney were the defending champions after winning their 12th title in 2013. The final in front of a crowd of 1,550 between Loughmore Castleiney and Cahir which was played on 21 December in Cashel and finished in a draw with the replay fixed for 26 December. Cian Hennessy's scored the equalising point for Loughmore in the final minute after Benny Hickey had scored from a free in the 54th minute to put Cahir in front. Cahir had led 1-6 to 2-2 at half time. Loughmore Castleiney defeated Cahir by 0-9 to 2-2 in the replay on 26 December.
