2015 ARCA Racing Series Season
The 2015 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards was the 63rd season of the ARCA Racing Series. The season began on February 14 with the Lucas Oil 200 presented by Autozone and ended October 16 with the Full Throttle S'loonshine 98.9. The championship was won by GMS Racing driver Grant Enfinger, who won a series-high six races during the season, including the first three of the season at Daytona, Mobile and the Nashville Fairgrounds. Enfinger finished 425 points clear of his nearest rival for the title, Mason Mitchell Motorsports' Austin Wayne Self, who passed Josh Williams (Josh Williams Motorsports) for the runner-up position at the final race. Self finished outside the top fifteen on only two occasions, and won one race during the season, at Winchester; while Williams recorded no fewer than fifteen top-ten finishes but was unable to break into victory lane. ARCA Racing Series
The ARCA Menards Series is an American stock car series, the premier division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). It is considered a minor, semi-professional league of stock car racing, used as a feeder series into the three national touring series of NASCAR, and hosts events at a variety of track types including superspeedways, road courses, and dirt tracks. The series has had a longstanding relationship with NASCAR, including using former NASCAR Cup Series cars, hosting events in the same race weekend such as Daytona Speedweeks, and naming an award after NASCAR founder Bill France, Sr. However, the series was not officially affiliated with NASCAR until its buyout on April 27, 2018. The series was known as the ARCA Permatex SuperCar Series from 1986 until 1991, the ARCA Hooters SuperCar Series from 1993 until 1995, and as the ARCA Bondo/Mar-Hyde Series from 1996 to 2000. Winchester Speedway
Winchester Speedway is a half-mile paved oval motor racetrack in White River Township, Randolph County, just outside Winchester, Indiana, approximately northeast of Indianapolis. It seats 4000 spectators. It is also known as the "World's Fastest 1/2 mile". The track's 37 degree banking is one of the steepest in motorsports, and the highest-banked active racetrack in the country. Sarah Cornett-Ching
Sarah Cornett-Ching (born May 8, 1991) is a Canadian professional stock car racing driver. She most recently competed full-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 2 Chevrolet/Toyota for the RACE 101 team in 2015 and 2016. Since then, she has been without a ride in any NASCAR series. Racing career Cornett-Ching started her motorsports career at the age of twelve. Todd J. Gilliland (born May 15, 2000) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 38 Ford Mustang for Front Row Motorsports. Ross Kenseth (born May 25, 1993) is an American stock car racing driver who currently competes part-time in the Blizzard Series. He is the son of 2003 NASCAR Winston Cup Series champion Matt Kenseth. Trevor Bayne
Trevor Mitchell Bayne (born February 19, 1991) is an American professional stock car racing driver, dirt racing driver, team owner, and businessman. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 18 Toyota Supra for Joe Gibbs Racing and part-time in the American Crate All-Star Series presented by PPM, driving the No. 29 Longhorn Chassis for Trevor Bayne Racing. Cole Matthew Custer (born January 23, 1998) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 00 Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing. He previously drove for the team full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series from 2020 to 2022. Travis Donald Braden (born March 25, 1994) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He most recently competed full-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 27 Ford for RFMS Racing. He has also raced super late models, winning the Winchester 400 in 2016 and the Snowball Derby in 2019. Kenneth Schrader (born May 29, 1955) is an American professional racing driver. Ryan Reed
Ryan A. Reed (born August 12, 1993) is an American professional stock car racing driver and driver coach who previously competed part-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Reed previously competed full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Roush Fenway Racing for five years, driving the No. 16 Ford Mustang, which was highlighted by two wins (in 2015 and 2017) at the season-opening Daytona race.
