2015 ADAC Formula 4
The 2015 ADAC Formula 4 season was the inaugural season of the ADAC Formula 4, which replaced the ADAC Formel Masters. It began on 25 April at Oschersleben and finished on 4 October at Hockenheim after eight triple header rounds. Champion Marvin Dienst took 8 wins, as runner-up Sweden Joel Eriksson won 7 races. Joey Mawson won five races while Mick Schumacher, Lando Norris, Ralf Aron and David Beckmann won one race each. Teams and drivers Race calendar The calendar was published on 12 December 2014. All rounds, except for the second Oschersleben round supporting DTM, were part of ADAC GT Masters weekends. Race results Championship standings Points were awarded to the top 10 classified finishers in each race. No points were awarded for pole position or fastest lap. 2015 ADAC GT Masters Season
The 2015 ADAC GT Masters season was the ninth season of the ADAC GT Masters, the grand tourer-style sports car racing founded by the German automobile club ADAC. The season started on 25 April at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben and ended on 4 October at Hockenheim after eight double-header meetings. René Rast and Kelvin van der Linde entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champions. Prosperia C. Abt Racing entered the season as the defending Teams' Champion. Mike David Ortmann
Mike David Ortmann (born 26 October 1999 in Brandenburg) is a German racing driver. Career Karting Ortmann began karting in 2010 at the age of eleven, competing in championships across Germany and taking titles in the championship at East Saxon State and the East German ADAC Kart Cup in 2012. Formula 4 In 2015, Ortmann graduated to single-seaters, partaking in the inaugural ADAC Formula 4 Championship with ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. He finished twelfth overall and finished as vice-champion in the rookie standings behind teammate David Beckmann. He remained in the sport for the following season, taking three victories, a pole and a fastest lap to finish third in the championship. Luca Engstler (born 8 March 2000) is a German racing driver currently competing in the WTCR and ADAC TCR Germany Touring Car Championship. Having previously competed in the TCR Middle East Touring Car Series and ADAC Formula 4 amongst others. Racing career Engstler began his career in 2009 in Karting, he continued in karting until 2014. In 2015 he switched to the ADAC Formula 4 Series, he continued in the series for 2016 and finished twenty-sixth in the championship standings that year. For 2017 he switched to the ADAC TCR Germany Touring Car Championship, he took his first podiums at the third round of the championship at Oschersleben, where he took two third-place finishes. Mattia Drudi (born 16 July 1998) is an Italian racing driver who currently competes in the GT World Challenge Europe for Attempto Racing. Career Early career Drudi begin his karting career in 2005, at the age of 7, in his native Italy. In 2009, he claimed three karting titles, taking the 60cc class titles in the Easykart Italy, Easykart European (Cadet), and Campeonato Area Centro series. Two years later, he won the 100cc class of the Easykart European series; his final major championship in karting before transitioning to single-seaters after 2014. Timo Scheider (born 10 November 1978 in Lahnstein) is a German racing driver who competes in the FIA World Rallycross Championship for Münnich Motorsport. He won the DTM title in 2008 and 2009. Career Karting Like most other drivers, Scheider started his racing career in karting in 1989. In 1992, he went on to win the Kerpen Winter Cup and earned seventh place in the German Junior Kart NRW-Cup a year later.
