Piro Sports
Piro Sports is a German auto racing team based in Heusweiler, Germany. The team currently participates in the ADAC GT4 Germany after previously competed in single-make touring car series and junior formula racing such as ADAC Formula 4 and Formula Renault 1.6 NEC Junior. History The team was founded by hillclimb racing driver Erwin Piro in 1998 to compete in the Ford Puma Cup. Between 2000 and 2004 the team competed in the Alfa Romeo 147 Cup and in the MINI Challenge between 2005 and 2012. Junior formula racing In 2014 the team made a switch to single seaters entering the Formula Renault 1.6 NEC Junior for Erwin Piro's son Cedric Piro and Larry ten Voorde. The drivers finished 8th (Piro) and 10th (ten Voorde). The team entered the inaugural ADAC Formula 4 season for Piro and Toni Wolf. Wolf finished the season in 22nd position while Piro finished 24th. ADAC GT4 Germany
The ADAC GT4 Germany is a grand tourer-based auto racing series that is largely held in Germany. The races are held as part of the ADAC GT Masters, and GT4 vehicles are used. The championship took place for the first time in 2019. History On 27 July 2019, in a press conference of the 24 Hours of Spa, it was announced that ADAC had acquired the rights to the GT4 class for Germany and that its existing motorsport program (consisting of: ADAC GT Masters, TCR Germany and ADAC Formula 4) wants to expand. The new racing series is based on the ADAC GT Masters and is intended as a springboard for young talents. 2018 TCR Europe Series
The 2018 TCR Europe Touring Car Series was the third holding of TCR Europe Touring Car Series, TCR Europe, and first held as a standalone series. The series began at the Circuit Paul Ricard in May and ended at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in October. As part of an deal with the series' promoters, at five of the seven events, the 2018 TCR BeNeLux Touring Car Championship series was held which was its third edition. TCR Europe Touring Car Series
The TCR Europe Touring Car Series is an annual touring car racing event that is held at various locations across Europe. The series is run in accordance with the TCR Touring Car regulations with production-based cars that are front-wheel drive and powered by 2.0-litre turbocharged engines. History On 15 October 2015, Marcello Lotti revealed plans for a European Series including one round from each TCR European championship (Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Russia and Benelux), starting from 2016. On 26 February 2016, the European Trophy was launched, with six rounds (Spanish championship was excluded for not having an own series and Benelux series had two rounds). The 2017 ADAC Formula 4 Championship was the third season of the ADAC Formula 4. It began on 29 April at Oschersleben and finished on 24 September at Hockenheim after seven triple header rounds. Tatuus F4-T014
The Tatuus F4-T014 is a junior formula racing car introduced in 2014 by Italian manufacturer Tatuus. The basic chassis is also used in the Tatuus MSV F4-016, Tatuus USF-17 and the Tatuus PM-18. F4-T014 and MSV F4-016 The Tatuus F4-T014 was the first racing car homologated according to the FIA Formula 4 rules. The car was first used in the 2014 Italian F4 Championship, won by Lance Stroll. As of 2015 the chassis is also used in the ADAC Formula 4 and the SMP F4 Championship. The 2015 ADAC Formula 4 season was the inaugural season of the ADAC Formula 4, which replaced the ADAC Formel Masters. It began on 25 April at Oschersleben and finished on 4 October at Hockenheim after eight triple header rounds. Champion Marvin Dienst took 8 wins, as runner-up Sweden Joel Eriksson won 7 races. ADAC Formula 4 (german: ADAC Formel 4) is a racing series regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations. The inaugural season was the 2015 ADAC Formula 4. It replaced the ADAC Formel Masters, held from 2008 to 2014. History Gerhard Berger and the FIA Single Seater Commission launched the FIA Formula 4 in March 2013. The goal of Formula 4 is to make the ladder to Formula 1 more transparent. Besides sporting and technical regulations, costs are regulated too. A car to compete in this category may not exceed a price of €30,000. A single season in Formula 4 may not exceed €100,000 in costs.
