The 2014–15 Southern Counties East Football League season (known as the 2014–15 Hurliman Southern Counties East Football League for sponsorship reasons) was the 2nd under the current name and 49th overall in the history of the Southern Counties East Football League, a association football, football competition in England. Southern Counties East Football League
The Southern Counties East Football League is an English football league established in 1966, which has teams based in Kent and Southeast London. Until 2013, it was known as the Kent League. There was a previous Kent League, that existed from 1894 to 1959. History The first Kent League was formed in 1894 and folded in 1959. Despite many of the same clubs having spells in membership, there is no direct connection between the two competitions. The current incarnation of the league was formed in 1966 as the Kent Premier League (changing to Kent Football League in 1968), and in its early years many of its members were reserve sides of Southern League teams. Gradually, the reserve sides were all shifted down into the lower divisions. In 2013 the league changed its name to the Southern Counties East League, to reflect the fact that many of its member clubs no longer played within the county of Kent. The 2015–16 Southern Combination Football League season was the 91st in the history of the competition (the first since it changed name from the Sussex County Football League), a football league in England. This is also the first season in which all divisions were renamed after league restructuring. 2015–16 Isthmian League
The 2015–16 season is the 101st season of the Isthmian League, which is an English football competition featuring semi-professional and amateur clubs from London, East and South East England. Also, it is the tenth season for the current incarnations of the Division One North and Division One South. The league constitution was announced on 15 May 2015. After the constitution was announced, Clevedon Town of Southern League Division One South & West were demoted because their floodlights were not to the required standard. As a result, Ware were transferred to Southern League Division One Central from Isthmian League Division One North, and Redbridge were reprieved from relegation.
