Sheffield United Football Club participated in Football League One, League One, the third level of English football, during the 2014–15 season. Kit In April 2014, United announced that they had agreed a deal with German sportswear company Adidas to produce the team kit for the 2014–15 season and beyond, ending the club's previous association with Macron (sportswear), Macron. This was followed in June with DBL Logistics being unveiled as the club's secondary shirt sponsor until 2016, and in July by the announcement of luxury car dealers, John Holland Sales as the club's main shirt sponsor. In September United released a third kit, featuring a yellow and black shirt, sponsored by Topspring. On 17 October, Sheffield United announced a two-year deal with local business Blue Portal Telecoms with their logo appearing on the shorts of the first team. Sheffield is a city in South Yorkshire, England, situated south of Leeds and east of Manchester. The city is the administrative centre of the City of Sheffield. Elliott Whitehouse
Elliott Mark Whitehouse (born 27 October 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Matlock Town on loan from club Macclesfield. Whitehouse is a product of Sheffield United's academy and had loan spells with York City and Alfreton Town before being released in 2014. He joined Notts County and after a loan spell with Nuneaton Town was released in 2015. He had a short spell with FC Halifax Town before joining Nuneaton Town permanently. Sean Andrew McGinty (born 11 August 1993) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Scottish Championship club Airdrieonians. After a spell with Charlton Athletic as a junior, he began his professional career with Manchester United. Having failed to break into the United first team, he had loan spells at Morecambe, Oxford United, Carlisle United and Tranmere Rovers before signing for Sheffield United on a permanent basis. Matthew Clayton Hill (born 26 March 1981) is an English former footballer who played as a defender. Born in Bristol, Hill started his career with Bristol City where he made over 200 appearances. He subsequently joined Preston North End where he also spent a successful spell, playing over 100 times for the Lancashire club. A move to Wolverhampton Wanderers followed but first team opportunities were more limited and he was loaned to Queens Park Rangers before leaving to join Barnsley. Having begun his career at Yeovil Town he spent time on loan at Weston-super-Mare, Taunton Town and Tiverton Town before moving to Peterborough United.
