2014–15 Saudi First Division
2014–15 Saudi First Division was the 38th season of Saudi First Division since its establishment in 1976. The season featured 11 teams from the 2013–14 campaign, two new teams relegated from the 2013–14 Professional League: Al-Ettifaq and Al-Nahda, and three new teams promoted from the 2013–14 Saudi Second Division: Al-Feiha as champions and group B winner, Al-Safa as runners-up and group A winner and Al-Mojzel as Third-place play-offs winner. The league began on 15 August 2014 and was ended on 20 April 2015. Al-Qadisiyah won the title and promoted to 2015–16 Professional League plus Al-Wehda as runners-up. Al-Safa, Abha and Hetten were relegated to 2015–16 Saudi Second Division. Saudi First Division
The First Division League (FDL for short), also called the Yelo league for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier of professional football in Saudi Arabia. The First Division League is ranked below the Saudi Professional League and above the Saudi Second Division in the Saudi Arabian football league system. All of the FDL clubs qualify for the King Cup, the annual Saudi Cup competition. Al-Hazem are the most recent champions, winning their second title during the 2020–21 season. The number of clubs in the league has changed throughout history, most recently in the 2018–19 season, when the number of clubs increased from 16 to 20. Al Khubar
Khobar ( ar, ٱلْخُبَر, translit=al-Khobar) is a city and governorate in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, situated on the coast of the Persian Gulf. With a population of 457,748 as of 2017, Khobar is part of the 'Triplet Cities' area, or Dammam metropolitan area along with Dammam and Dhahran, forming the residential core of the region. Al Ettifaq Football Club ( ar, نادي الاتفاق لكرة القدم) is a professional football club in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Al-Ettifaq was established after the merging of three clubs in the city of Dammam at the year 1944. Al Ettifaq is the first Saudi team to win an international title – the 1984 Arab Club Champions Cup. Al Ettifaq is also the first team to win the Saudi Premier League without any defeat. Al-Jeel Club () is a Saudi Arabian football club based in Hofuf, Al-Hasa. Founded in 1976, the club competes in the MS League , the second tier of Saudi football. Al Majma'ah ( ar, المجمعة) is a city and a governorate in Ar Riyad Province, Saudi Arabia. It is located at around , and it is the capital of the Sudair region. The city has an area of 30,000 square kilometres. The population of the town is around 45,000, while the population of the governorate as a whole is approximately 97,349.
