The 2014–15 Philadelphia 76ers season was the 76th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The 76ers 2013 NBA draft pick, Nerlens Noel, would play his first season in a Sixer uniform, but for the third straight year, they acquired a center (by draft or trade) that would not play for them the first year, as number 3 overall pick Joel Embiid was out with foot and back issues. Michael Carter Williams was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks for draft picks. On December 1, 2014, the 76ers lost their 17th straight game to start the season 0–17, one loss shy of the New Jersey Nets 0–18 mark in 2009–10. On December 3, the 76ers won their first game of the season against the Minnesota Timberwolves avoiding the worst start without a win. Brett Brown
Brett William Brown (born February 16, 1961) is an American professional basketball coach who is an assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Brown is a former college basketball player who previously served as head coach for the Philadelphia 76ers from 2013 to 2020. Before that, Brown was an assistant on Gregg Popovich's staff on the Spurs. He also has extensive experience coaching in Australia, having been the head coach of the North Melbourne Giants and Sydney Kings of the National Basketball League (NBL). The Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball program is the intercollegiate men's basketball program of the University of Kansas. Nemanja Dangubić
Nemanja Dangubić ( sr, Немања Дангубић, born 13 April 1993) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Promitheas Patras of the Greek Basket League and the EuroCup. He was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 54th overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft. Professional career In 2010, Dangubić joined the Hemofarm junior team, before joining the senior team for the 2011–12 season. In July 2012, Dangubić signed with Mega Vizura. Crvena zvezda (2014–2018) On 31 July 2014 Dangubić signed a three-year deal with an opt-out clause after each season with Crvena zvezda. The Basketball League of Serbia ( sr, Кошаркашка лига Србије, Košarkaška liga Srbije; abbr. КЛС or KLS), is a top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia. Vasilije Micić
Vasilije Micić ( sr-cyr, Василије Мицић, born 13 January 1994) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Anadolu Efes of the Turkish Basketball Super League and the EuroLeague. He also represents the Serbian national basketball team internationally. He was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 52nd overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft. Houston Jerami Grant (born March 12, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
