Vasilije Micić
Vasilije Micić ( sr-cyr, Василије Мицић, born 13 January 1994) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Anadolu Efes of the Turkish Basketball Super League and the EuroLeague. He also represents the Serbian national basketball team internationally. He was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 52nd overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft. A three-time All-EuroLeague selection, Micić led Anadolu Efes to two EuroLeague titles, for 2021 and 2022, winning the EuroLeague MVP in 2021 as well as the both Final Four MVPs. Junior career From 2002 to 2006, Micić played for the OKK Beograd youth system. In 2006–07, he played for Crvena zvezda juniors, and then from 2007 to 2010, he played for FMP Železnik juniors. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Alphonso Ford EuroLeague Top Scorer Trophy
The Alphonso Ford EuroLeague Top Scorer Trophy, also known as the EuroLeague Best Scorer, is an annual basketball award of Europe's premier level league, the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. It is given to the Top Scorer throughout the EuroLeague season, up until the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four stage of the season. The award, under its current name, began in the 2004–05 season, and is named after the late Alphonso Ford, who was one of the greatest scorers in EuroLeague history. Since the Alphonso Ford award has been given out (2004–05 season onward), a player could average the most points during the EuroLeague full season competition, and not win the award, since it is only counted for games up to the EuroLeague Final Four. Turkish Basketball Presidential Cup
The Turkish Basketball Presidential Cup ( tr, Cumhurbaşkanlığı Kupası), sometimes referred to as Turkish Basketball Super Cup, is the professional men's basketball super cup competition that takes place each year in Turkey. The competition began in the year 1985. One game is held to determine the winner of the competition. It is played between the winners of the Basketbol Süper Ligi and the winners of the Turkish Cup season. 2022 Turkish Basketball Cup
The 2022 Turkish Basketball Cup ( tr, 2022 Basketbol Erkekler Türkiye Kupası), also known as Bitci Erkekler Türkiye Kupası for sponsporship reasons, was the 36th edition of Turkey's top-tier level professional national domestic basketball cup competition. The quarterfinals of tournament was held from 15 to 16 February 2022 in 4 different locations and then semi-finals and the final were held from 18 to 20 February 2022 in the Tofaş Nilüfer Spor Salonu in Bursa, Turkey. Anadolu Efes won the competition by defeating Fenerbahçe Beko 86–72 in the final. The 2018–19 Basketbol Süper Ligi was the 53rd season of the Basketbol Süper Ligi, the top-tier level professional club basketball league in Turkey. ABA League
The ABA League, renamed to the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the 1st-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). The All-EuroLeague Team is an award for Europe's premier level league, the EuroLeague, that is given to the league's top ten basketball players for each season, since the 2000–01 season. During the FIBA era of the EuroLeague, players were honored first by being a part of the FIBA Festival, and later by being selected to the FIBA EuroStars.
