2014–15 Lowland Football League
The 2014–15 Lowland League was the second season of the Lowland Football League, the fifth tier of the Scottish football pyramid system. The season began on 2 August 2014 and ended on 13 May 2015. The Spartans were the defending champions. The league expanded to 14 teams with Edinburgh University and BSC Glasgow joining. This was the first season in which promotion to Scottish League Two was introduced, with the champions taking part in the pyramid play-off against the Highland League champions and the winner then playing the bottom side in League Two. Edinburgh City won their first league title on 20 March 2015 after nearest rivals Whitehill Welfare lost at East Kilbride. Lowland Football League
The Scottish Lowland Football League (SLFL, commonly known as the Lowland League) and the Park’s Motor Group Scottish Lowland League for sponsorship reasons is a senior football league based in central and southern Scotland. The league sits at level 5 on the Scottish football league system, acting as a feeder to the Scottish Professional Football League, and is above three regional leagues at level 6. Founded in 2013, it is currently composed of 18 member clubs in a single division. Geographically, the league covers an area south of Dundee in the Lowlands area of Scotland. The Scottish League Two, known as William Hill (bookmaker), William Hill League Two for sponsorship reasons, is the fourth tier of the Scottish Professional Football League, the league competition for men's professional association football, football clubs in Scotland. The Scottish League Two was established in July 2013, after the Scottish Professional Football League was formed by a merger of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League. K Park Training Academy
K-Park Training Academy is a stadium and training ground for football in the St Leonards area of East Kilbride in South Lanarkshire. It is located within the site of Calderglen Country Park. It is the home ground of League Two club East Kilbride. History K-Park was opened in May 2011 by the East Kilbride Community Trust (EKCT), who had previously drawn up plans that would give the large town a top-quality, UEFA-standard sports facility. Dalbeattie Star Football Club is a Scottish association football club based in Dalbeattie, Dumfries and Galloway. It currently competes in the . The club had previously played in the Lowland League. 2013–14 East Of Scotland Football League
The 2013–14 East of Scotland Football League was the 85th season of the East of Scotland Football League. Whitehill Welfare were the reigning champions, but not defend their title after moving to the Lowland League. The league was split into two separate divisions, the Premier Division and the First Division. This season saw a reduction in the number of clubs from 26 to 20, due to the departure of nine clubs who left to join the inaugural Lowland Football League, although additional reserve teams joined the league to boost numbers. The 2014–15 Scottish League Two is the 21st season in the current format of 10 teams in the fourth tier of Scottish football. The last placed team entered a play-off with the winners of the Highland League ( Brora Rangers) and Lowland League ( Edinburgh City) to determine which team entered League Two in the 2015–16 season.
