2014–15 Emporia State Lady Hornets Basketball Team
The 2014–15 Emporia State Lady Hornets basketball team represented Emporia State University in the 2014–15 NCAA Division II women's basketball season, which was the Lady Hornets' 41st basketball season. The Lady Hornets were led by head coach Jory Collins, who finished his fifth season at the helm of the Lady Hornets. The team played its home games on Slaymaker Court at William L. White Auditorium in Emporia, Kansas, its home court since 1974. Emporia State is a member of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association. Preseason outlook On October 22, the MIAA released its Preseason Coaches Poll. On November 6, the Lady Hornets were ranked 7th in the nation. Jory Michael Collins (born October 14, 1978) is an American women's college basketball coach currently serving as the head coach for the North Dakota State program. From 2010 until 2018, Collins was the head coach at Emporia State University. Collins led the Emporia State Lady Hornets to eight consecutive winning seasons. The sports teams at the University of Central Missouri are known as the Mules (men) and Jennies (women). The Missouri Western Griffons are the sports teams of Missouri Western State University located in St. Joseph, Missouri. The Lincoln Blue Tigers are the sports teams of Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri. Bolivar, Missouri
Bolivar is a city and county seat of Polk County, Missouri, United States. As of a 2019 estimate by the U. S. Census Bureau, the city population was 11,067.
