2014–15 Alabama–Huntsville Chargers Men's Ice Hockey Season
The 2014–15 Alabama–Huntsville Chargers ice hockey team represented the University of Alabama in Huntsville in the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season. The Chargers were coached by Mike Corbett who was in his second season as head coach. His assistant coaches were Gavin Morgan and Matty Thomas. The Chargers played their home games in the Propst Arena at the Von Braun Center and competed in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. UAH finished the season with 8 wins, 24 losses, and 4 ties, exceeding their win total of the previous three seasons combined. In conference play, the Chargers finished with a record of 7 wins, 20 losses, and 1 tie, placing 8th in the 10-team league. Mike Corbett (ice Hockey, Born 1972)
Mike Corbett (born January 31, 1972) is an American ice hockey coach who was previously the head coach at Alabama–Huntsville Chargers from 2013 to 2020. Corbett played junior ice hockey for the Wisconsin Capitols of the United States Hockey League from 1990 until 1992 and college ice hockey at Denver from 1992 until 1997. After his playing career, he coached the Butte Irish of the junior A America West Hockey League from 1997–2000 and was named the league's Coach of the Year in his first season. Corbett coached the AWHL's Billings Bulls in 2000–01, before moving to the Sioux Falls Stampede of the USHL in 2001–02. Lethbridge Pronghorns
The Lethbridge Pronghorns, are the athletic teams that represent the University of Lethbridge in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. They have men's and women's teams that compete in U Sports basketball, rugby union, soccer, swimming, and track and field. Previously, they competed in ice hockey until 2020. The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) is a college athletic conference which competes in NCAA Division III. All 13 of the member schools are located in Minnesota and are private institutions, with only two being non-sectarian. The ECHL (formerly the East Coast Hockey League) is a mid-level professional ice hockey league based in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, with teams scattered across the United States and Canada. It is a tier below the American Hockey League (AHL). Brampton Beast
The Brampton Beast were a professional ice hockey team based in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The team originally played in the Central Hockey League for one year during the 2013–14 season prior to the league's folding before joining the ECHL from 2014 to 2020.
