Mike Corbett (ice Hockey, Born 1972)
Mike Corbett (born January 31, 1972) is an American ice hockey coach who was previously the head coach at Alabama–Huntsville Chargers from 2013 to 2020. Corbett played junior ice hockey for the Wisconsin Capitols of the United States Hockey League from 1990 until 1992 and college ice hockey at Denver from 1992 until 1997. After his playing career, he coached the Butte Irish of the junior A America West Hockey League from 1997–2000 and was named the league's Coach of the Year in his first season. Corbett coached the AWHL's Billings Bulls in 2000–01, before moving to the Sioux Falls Stampede of the USHL in 2001–02. Quinnipiac Bobcats Men's Ice Hockey
The Quinnipiac Bobcats men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Quinnipiac University. The Bobcats are a member of ECAC Hockey. They play at the M&T Bank Arena in Hamden, Connecticut. History Quinnipiac College began sponsoring men's ice hockey as a varsity sport for the 1975–76 season. The program began as an independent team before joining ECAC 3 the following year. The program remained with the third-tier conference for over 20 years despite being a Division II school for much of that time. The Braves left ECAC 3 in 1997 and spent a year as a D-II independent before moving up to Division I as part of the university's transition to the top level. Quinnipiac was a founding member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference ice hockey division, joining the conference as an affiliate member. ''The Huntsville Times'' is a thrice-weekly newspaper published in Huntsville, Alabama, and printed in Birmingham, Alabama. It also serves the surrounding areas of north Alabama's Tennessee Valley region. 2014–15 Alabama–Huntsville Chargers Men's Ice Hockey Season
The 2014–15 Alabama–Huntsville Chargers ice hockey team represented the University of Alabama in Huntsville in the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season. The Chargers were coached by Mike Corbett who was in his second season as head coach. His assistant coaches were Gavin Morgan and Matty Thomas. The Chargers played their home games in the Propst Arena at the Von Braun Center and competed in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
