2014 Tre Valli Varesine
The 2014 Tre Valli Varesine was the 94th edition of the Tre Valli Varesine single-day cycling race. While previous editions were held in August, the 2014 edition was raced on 18 September. The organizers of the race planned to attract more top-rank riders by moving the date of the race towards closer to the World Championship, so that cyclist who planned to compete in the World Championship could participate to the Tre Valli Varesine in preparation. The race started in Luino and concluded in Varese, after 199.4 km. 2014 UCI Europe Tour
The 2014 UCI Europe Tour was the tenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2014 season began on 2 February 2014 with the Grand Prix d'Ouverture La Marseillaise, Grand Prix Cycliste la Marseillaise and ended on 19 October 2014 with the Chrono des Nations. The points leader, based on the cumulative results of previous races, wears the UCI Europe Tour cycling jersey. Riccardo Zoidl of Austria was the defending champion of the 2013 UCI Europe Tour. The 2014 Europe Tour was won by Tom Van Asbroeck. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. Enrico Gasparotto (born 22 March 1982) is an Italian-born Swiss former professional road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2005 and 2020, for seven different teams.
