Adam Laxalt
Adam Paul Laxalt (; born August 31, 1978) is an American attorney and politician who served as the 33rd Nevada Attorney General from 2015 to 2019. A member of the Republican Party, he was an unsuccessful candidate for governor of Nevada in 2018 and for the U.S. Senate in 2022. Laxalt is the son of former U.S. Senator Pete Domenici of New Mexico and grandson of former Nevada governor and U.S. senator Paul Laxalt. Andrew Martin (born February 19, 1964) is an American politician and certified public accountant who has served as the Clark County Democratic Party Chair, as a Member of the Nevada State Economic Forum, a Member of the Clark County School District Bond Oversight Committee, and as a member of the Nevada Assembly. He is a member of the Democratic Party. Martin graduated from Binghamton University in New York before earning his CPA license and beginning a career as an accountant. The 2012 United States House of Representatives elections in Nevada were held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 and elected the four U.S. Representatives from Nevada, one from each of the state's four congressional districts, an increase of one seat in reapportionment following the 2010 United States Census. Nevada's 4th Congressional District
Nevada's 4th congressional district is a congressional district that was created as a result of the 2010 United States Census. Located in the central portion of the state, it includes most of northern Clark County, southern Lyon County and all of Esmeralda, Lincoln, Mineral, Nye and White Pine counties. Although the district appears rural, over 80% of its population lives in the heavily Democratic northern portion of Clark County. As a result, the district leans Democratic at the federal level. The district has flipped between Democratic and Republican representation since it was created. Democrat Steven Horsford won the election for this seat in the 2012 House elections. Barbara Katherine Cegavske (née Jewson; born August 27, 1951) is an American businesswoman and politician, who is the former Secretary of State of Nevada from 2015 to 2023. Kathleen Marie Marshall (née Soltero; born July 22, 1959) is an American lawyer and politician who served as the 35th lieutenant governor of Nevada from 2019 to 2021.
