2014 Miami Dolphins Season
The 2014 season was the Miami Dolphins' 45th in the National Football League (NFL), their 49th overall and their third under head coach Joe Philbin. Following the appointment of Dennis Hickey, the team had a new general manager for the first time since 2007 after Jeff Ireland was fired on January 7, 2014. The American Football Conference – Eastern Division or AFC East is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). Jordan Tripp
Jordan Lee Tripp (born April 3, 1991) is a former American football inside linebacker. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Montana. High school Tripp attended Big Sky High School in Missoula, Montana, where he was a team captain in football his senior year. He was an all-state and all-conference pick as a senior when he had 72 tackles, including 13 for loss, and 12 sacks. College career Tripp attended the University of Montana and played for the Montana Grizzlies football team from 2009 to 2013. The Georgia Bulldogs football program represents the University of Georgia in the sport of American football. The Bulldogs compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Arthur Lynch (American Football)
Arthur Lynch (born June 17, 1990) is a former American football tight end. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Georgia. Liberty Flames Football
The Liberty Flames football program represents Liberty University, a private Christian university located in Lynchburg, Virginia, in college football. The Flames compete in NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) as an independent. The program, which previously competed in Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), announced it would start a transition to the top level of NCAA football in July 2017. Cornerback
A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Cornerbacks cover receivers most of the time, but also blitz and defend against such offensive running plays as sweeps and reverses. They create turnovers through hard tackles, interceptions, and deflecting forward passes. Other members of the defensive backfield include strong and free safeties. Walter Aikens Jr. (born June 19, 1991) is a former American football cornerback. He was drafted by the Dolphins in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
