Alfonso Navarrete Prida
Alfonso Navarrete Prida (born 13 October 1963) is a Mexican politician from the Institutional Revolutionary Party who served as the Secretary of the Interior in 2018. He previously served as the Secretary of Labor of Mexico from 2012 to 2018. From 2009 to 2012 he served as Deputy of the LXI Legislature of the Mexican Congress representing the State of Mexico. Navarrete was on board the helicopter which crashed in February 2018 while surveying the damage done by a recent earthquake. 14 people were killed in the crash, but Navarrete and fellow politician Alejandro Murat Hinojosa Alejandro Ismael Murat Hinojosa (born August 4, 1975) is a Mexican politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party. The governor of Baja California represents the executive branch of the government of the state of Baja California, Mexico, per the state's constitution. The official title is "Free and Sovereign State of Baja California" (''Estado Libre y Soberano de Baja California''), and the position is democratically elected for a period of 6 years, and is not re-electable. From 1953 to 2019, the governor's term began November 1 of the year of the election and finishes October 31, six years later. Luis Videgaray Caso (born August 10, 1968) is a Mexican politician who served as the Secretary of Foreign Affairs from 2017 to 2018. Previously he was the Secretary of Finance and Public Credit, also in the cabinet of Enrique Peña Nieto, from 2012 to 2016. Prior to Peña Nieto's victory in the elections, Videgaray was General Coordinator of his campaign for the 2012 Mexican presidential election. On July 11, 2012, Peña Nieto announced Videgaray as the person in charge of promoting the economic reforms and the government agenda's related topics, and on September 4, he named Videgaray as co-head of the team that set policy direction for the new government that took office on December 1, 2012.
