2014 Fórmula 3 Brasil Season
The 2014 Fórmula 3 Brasil season was the eighth Fórmula 3 Brasil season and the first since 1995, replacing the Formula 3 Sudamericana series as the highest-profile single-seater championship on the continent. The championship was dominated by Pedro Piquet, the son of three-time Formula One world champion Nelson Piquet, winning 12 of the 16 races – 11 overall wins, plus a class win at Santa Cruz do Sul – that were held during the season. Driving for the Cesário F3 team, Piquet finished nearly 100 points clear of his closest championship rival, Lukas Moraes. Moraes failed to finish each of the first three races during the season, but recovered to fend off Bruno Etman for the runner-up position, by just a single point. Brazilian Formula Three Championship
Fórmula 3 Brasil was a Brazilian Formula Three racing competition, organised by the Vicar and CBA. It is a junior-level feeder formula that uses small single seater Formula Three chassis. Dallara is an Italian race car manufacturer, founded by its current President, Gian Paolo Dallara. After working for Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and De Tomaso, in 1972 in his native village of Varano de' Melegari (Parma), Italy he created "Dallara Automobili". Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet
The Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet (Nelson Piquet International RaceTrack), also known as Jacarepaguá after the neighbourhood in which it was located, and also as the Autódromo Riocentro, was a motorsport circuit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Opened in January 1978, a few weeks before 1978 Brazilian Grand Prix, it hosted the Formula One Brazilian Grand Prix on ten occasions, and was also used for CART, motorcycle racing and stock car racing. Autódromo Brasília BRB is a racing circuit in Brasília, the capital of Brazil. It is in length and hosts a variety of national-level series including Stock Car Brasil, Formula Truck and Formula 3 Brasil.
