2014 Fórmula 3 Brasil Season
The 2014 Fórmula 3 Brasil season was the eighth Fórmula 3 Brasil season and the first since 1995, replacing the Formula 3 Sudamericana series as the highest-profile single-seater championship on the continent. The championship was dominated by Pedro Piquet, the son of three-time Formula One world champion Nelson Piquet, winning 12 of the 16 races – 11 overall wins, plus a class win at Santa Cruz do Sul – that were held during the season. Driving for the Cesário F3 team, Piquet finished nearly 100 points clear of his closest championship rival, Lukas Moraes. Moraes failed to finish each of the first three races during the season, but recovered to fend off Bruno Etman for the runner-up position, by just a single point. Fórmula 3 Brasil was a Brazilian Formula Three racing competition, organised by the Vicar and CBA. It is a junior-level feeder formula that uses small single seater Formula Three chassis. Sérgio Santos Sette Câmara Filho (born 23 May 1998) is a Brazilians, Brazilian racing driver who currently competes in the 2025 European Le Mans Series with Nielsen Racing. He previously competed in Formula E, having previously raced for Dragon Racing, Dragon / Penske and ERT Formula E Team. The Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet (Nelson Piquet International Racetrack), also known as Jacarepaguá after Jacarepaguá, the neighbourhood in which it was located, and also as the Autódromo Riocentro, was a motorsport circuit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is in length that hosted a variety of national-level series including Stock Car Brasil, Formula Truck and Formula 3 Brasil.
