Individual Individual Championship The 2014 Danish Individual Speedway Championship was the 2014 edition of the Danish Individual Speedway Championship. The final was staged over two rounds, at Holstebro and Fjelsted, and was won by Niels Kristian Iversen. It was the third time Iversen had won the national title, having also been victorious in 2012 and 2013. The competition started with two semi finals, with four progressing to the final series from each. The final series was held over two rounds, with the top four scorers from the two rounds then competing in a Grand Final. The points from the Grand Final were then added to the total score and the overall winner was the rider with the most total points. Claus Vissing
Claus Vissing (born 6 June 1986) is a Danish speedway rider. Career Vissing made his British league debut for Stoke Potters in the 2007 Premier League speedway season before joining Peterborough Panthers for the 2008 and 2009 seasons. In 2010, he rode in the top tier of British Speedway, riding for Ipswich Witches during the 2010 Elite League speedway season. The following season in 2011, he signed for Birmingham Brummies but soon moved on to Somerset Rebels for 2012. He then spent three years in Scotland with Edinburgh Monarchs and Berwick Bandits respectively. In 2016, he joined Workington Comets and then rode again for Berwick in 2017. He was a member of the Swindon Robins team in the SGB Premiership 2019 that won the league and Knockout cup double. He also had two solid seasons in the Championship, helping Glasgow Tigers to two second place finishes in 2018 and 2019. He first appeared in the British leagues during the 2004 season, riding for Coventry Bees. Mikkel Michelsen (born 19 August 1994) is a Danish speedway rider. Nicolai Klindt
Nicolai Klindt (born 29 December 1988 in Outrup, Denmark) is a Danish speedway rider who won the 2007 Individual Under-19 European title. Career In 2006, Klindt won the Danish Under 21 Individual Speedway Championship and followed up the success by winning the 2007 European U19 title. In 2008, he signed for his first British league team Wolverhampton Wolves for the 2008 Elite League speedway season and also won his second Danish U21 title. He spent two more seasons at Wolves, improving his average to 6.91, making his debut for Denmark in the 2009 Speedway World Cup and winning a silver medal at the 2010 Speedway World Cup. Ulrich Reinhold Østergaard (born 19 April 1981 in Odense, Denmark) is a Danish former speedway rider. Career Østergaard initially came to the United Kingdom for a trial with the Trelawny Tigers in 2002 and impressed the management as they offered a contract immediately. However the BSPA did not ratify the deal due to the complex points limit in operation that season. Østergaard was eventually signed by the Eastbourne Eagles to ride in the ill-fated British League Cup during 2003. The 2004 season saw Østergaard gain his first full-time UK ride with the Isle of Wight Islanders, where he stayed for two seasons, doubling up with the Eastbourne Eagles in the Elite League.
