2014 DBL All-Star Gala
The 2014 DBL All-Star Gala was an all-star game event organised by the Dutch Basketball League (DBL). It consisted of the best players of the 2013–14 DBL season. The event was held on 23 February 2014 in the KingsDome in Den Helder. All-Star Game The Dutch players won the game, Jeroen van der List was voted the All-Star Game MVP. U23 All*Star Game 1 Williams didn't play because he was also selected for the All-Star Game. Team North won the contest, Quincy Treffers was voted the MVP. DBL All-Star Gala
The Dutch Basketball League All-Star Gala was a yearly basketball event in the Netherlands, organised by the Federatie Eredivisie Basketball (FEB). During the event the yearly All-Star Game was played, which included the best players of a given DBL season. Additionally, a dunk Contest and three-point contest were also held at the event. Since the 2017–18 season, the event is no longer organised by the FEB. All-Star Game The All-Star Game is played by two teams featuring the best players in the Dutch Basketball League, voted by fans in the Netherlands. From 2004 till 2013, the game was played between ''the North'' and ''the South'', players from club in the north of the Netherlands play in the North team. Worthy De Jong
Worthy Donovan Rafael de Jong (born 14 March 1988) is a Dutch 3x3 basketball player and former professional 5x5 player. Standing at 6 ft 4.3 in (1.94 m), De Jong plays the shooting guard or the small forward position. He played 13 seasons as a professional player in the Netherlands, of which 11 were with ZZ Leiden. He is Leiden's all-time leader in points, rebounds and assists, and is nicknamed "Mister ZZ Leiden". With Leiden, he won three Dutch championships and two Dutch Cups. De Jong is widely regarded as one of the best Dutch basketball players of his generation and was considered the best player in the country in his prime. Justin Stommes (born November 23, 1988) is an American professional basketball player from Cold Spring, Minnesota. He played college basketball for the Eastern Kentucky Colonels from 2007 until 2011. He has played for 5 professional teams from 2011 to 2016. He returned to the court for the 2019 Drew League season and won Rookie Of The Year honors. Jason Dourisseau
Jason Richard Dourisseau (born December 7, 1983) is an American-born naturalised Dutch professional basketball player. Dourisseau primarily plays the small forward position. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Dourisseau received a Dutch passport in 2015. He is most known for his years with Donar, where he played for 10 seasons and won five DBL championships and seven other trophies. The club retired his number 8. Cashmere A'keem Wright (born January 9, 1990) is a former American professional basketball player. He played college basketball with the Cincinnati Bearcats men's basketball, Cincinnati Bearcats. Afterwards, he spent three seasons playing professionally in the Netherlands, Greece and Poland. College career Wright was named to the 2012 All- Big East Conference, Big East tournament team with the Cincinnati Bearcats after unranked Cincinnati knocked off #2 Syracuse in the semifinals at Madison Square Garden. Feyenoord Basketball, for sponsorship reasons known as Zeeuw & Zeeuw Feyenoord Basketball, is a Dutch professional basketball club based in Rotterdam. The team plays in the BNXT League and plays its home games at the Topsportcentrum next to De Kuip in Rotterdam. Toon Van Helfteren
Anton J. J. "Toon" van Helfteren (born 20 February 1951) is a Dutch former basketball player and current coach of Feyenoord Basketball. Van Helfteren played in the Dutch Basketball League from 1971 till 1990. He was the coach of ZZ Leiden from 2008 till 2014. He also was the coach of the Dutch national basketball team for six years, starting in 2013 and ending in 2019. Sam Jones (basketball, Born 1978)
Sam Jones (born April 29, 1978) is an American-Dutch professional basketball coach and former player who is an assistant coach for the Colorado State Rams. He was an assistant coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). During his playing career, Jones played in Europe for several clubs as well as for the Netherlands national basketball team. Maxxcom BSW
Basketball Stars Weert, commonly known as BSW, was a professional basketball team based in Weert, Netherlands. The club was founded in 1968 and played in the Dutch Basketball League. Home games of the team are played in the Sporthal Boshoven. The club was a regular participant in the Dutch top division, as the side from Weert appeared in the Eredivisie (later DBL) for 34 straight seasons. The highlight of the club was the national championship in the 1993–94 season. The club finished three times as runner-up in the DBL: in 1988, 1993 and 2001. As well, BSW made European appearances with the most notable being the one in the FIBA European Cup Winners' Cup, the highest European level, in 1994–95. Joshua Duinker (born 18 April 1989) is an Australian-Dutch former professional basketball player who last played for the Kumamoto Volters of the Japanese B.League .
