2014 Copa Verde Finals
The 2014 Copa Verde Finals was the final two-legged tie that decided the 2014 Copa Verde, the 1st season of the Copa Verde, Brazil's regional cup football tournament organised by the Brazilian Football Confederation. The finals were contested in a two-legged home-and-away format between Paysandu, from Pará, and Brasília, from Distrito Federal. Paysandu won the first leg 2–1, and Brasília won the second leg by the same score, which meant the title was decided by a penalty shoot-out, which Brasília won 7–6 to claim their first Copa Verde title. However, on 28 July 2014, the title was awarded to Paysandu, due to irregularities of the squad of Brasília. Brasília appealed against this decision, and obtained a suspension which reversed this decision temporarily. 2014 Copa Verde
The 2014 Copa Verde was the 1st edition of a football competition held in the Brazil. Featuring 16 clubs, with Pará has three vacancies; Amazonas, Distrito Federal and Mato Grosso with two each and Acre, Amapá, Espírito Santo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins. The champion earned the spot in the 2015 Copa Sudamericana. Brasília won the final over Paysandu. Ricardo Esberad Capanema (19 September 1933 – 10 May 1998) was an international freestyle swimming (sport), swimmer from Brazil. Airton Santos De Oliveira
Airton (also known as Airton-in-Craven) is a small village and civil parish in the Craven district of North Yorkshire, England, situated north-west of Skipton. The village had a population of 175 according to the 2001 Census, increasing to 228 at the 2011 Census. History Listed as Airtone in the ''Domesday Book'', the village takes its name from the River Aire which runs along its eastern edge. In the late 1600s a significant Quaker community developed in the village around the Friends Meeting House. In use for the majority of its history, this building was restored between 2010 and 2012 and continues to host an active Quaker meeting. Other significant buildings in Airton include a squatter's cottage on the village green, a former Methodist Chapel (now closed) and an old mill on the River Aire which is in use as a private residence.
