2014 Copa Verde
The 2014 Copa Verde was the 1st edition of a football competition held in the Brazil. Featuring 16 clubs, with Pará has three vacancies; Amazonas, Distrito Federal and Mato Grosso with two each and Acre, Amapá, Espírito Santo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins. The champion earned the spot in the 2015 Copa Sudamericana. Brasília won the final over Paysandu. However, on July 28, 2014, the title was awarded to Paysandu, due to irregularities of the squad of Brasília. Brasília appealed against this decision, and obtained a suspension which reversed this decision temporarily. Brasília (; ) is the federal capital of Brazil and seat of government of the Federal District. The city is located at the top of the Brazilian highlands in the country's Central-West region. The 2015 Copa Sudamericana ( pt, Copa Sul-Americana 2015) was the 14th edition of the Copa Sudamericana, South America's secondary club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. Colombian team Santa Fe qualified to play in the 2016 Copa Libertadores, the 2016 Recopa Sudamericana, and the 2016 Suruga Bank Championship, after winning the final against Argentinian team Huracán 3–1 on penalties (0–0 on aggregate after extra time). 2013 Campeonato Brasiliense
The 2013 Campeonato Brasiliense de Futebol was the 38th edition of the Distrito Federal's top professional football league. The competition began on January 19, and ended on May 19. Brasiliense won the championship by the 8th time, while Botafogo and Brazlândia were relegated. Format The tournament has two stages. On the first stage, all teams are split in two groups. In first round, each team plays against all other teams in the team's same group. In the second round, each team plays against all other teams in the other group. In both rounds, the two best teams in each group advances to a playoff, where the four teams play to find the team who wins the round. The 2013 Campeonato Amazonense de Futebol was the 97th season of Amazonas' top professional football league. The competition began on February 16, and ended on May 26. Princesa do Solimões won the championship by the first time, while Rio Negro and Tarumã were relegated. Format The tournament consists of a double round-robin format, in which all twelve teams play each other twice, with classification split in two stages. Each round counts as one stage. The four better-placed teams of each stage will face themselves in playoffs matches, and the first stage champion will face the second stage champion.
