The 2014 Chicago Blitz season was the first season for the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) franchise. The Blitz came into existence in January 2014, after the Chicago Slaughter announced that they would be sitting out the 2014 season just one month before the regular season began. Odeum Expo Center
The Odeum Expo Center was a convention center located in Villa Park, Illinois. It featured of exhibit space at the North Hall and of exhibit space at the South Hall. Erie Insurance Arena
Erie Insurance Arena (originally known as Erie Civic Center and later, Louis J. Tullio Arena) is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the downtown area of Erie, Pennsylvania. 2014 Continental Indoor Football League Season
The 2014 Continental Indoor Football League season was the Continental Indoor Football League's ninth overall season. The regular season started on Monday February 3, with the Northern Kentucky River Monsters visiting the Bluegrass Warhorses at the Kentucky Horse Park, Alltech Arena, and ended with the 2014 CIFL Championship Game, the league's championship game held on May 18. The Erie Explosion successfully defended their championship from the previous year with a win over the Marion Blue Racers in the championship. Teams The Kane County Dawgs, Kentucky Drillers and Owensboro Rage folded either during or after the 2013 season. Marquette Dennison Robinson (born September 7, 1978 in Monroe, Louisiana) is a former American football defensive back of the Arena Football League (AFL). He now serves as the Assistant Defensive Coordinator and ((Director of Player Development))for the Chicago Blitz of the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL). He last played for the Chicago Slaughter of the CIFL. He attended the University of West Georgia. Dow Event Center
The Dow Event Center (formerly known as Saginaw County Event Center and Saginaw Civic Center) is an indoor arena located in Saginaw, Michigan. The center consists of several parts: The Atrium, The Garden Room, The Theater, The Red Room, Huntington Event Park, and The Arena. It currently houses the Ontario Hockey League's Saginaw Spirit. The Bank Of Kentucky Center
Truist Arena, formerly The Bank of Kentucky Center and BB&T Arena, is a 10,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Highland Heights, Kentucky, on the campus of Northern Kentucky University. 2014 Northern Kentucky River Monsters Season
The 2014 Northern Kentucky River Monsters season was the second and final season for the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) franchise. After a two-year layoff, the River Monsters announced that they would be returning to an active team, joining the Continental Indoor Football League for the 2014 season. Head coach Brian Schmidt was fired on February 22, and was replaced by defensive coordinator Mike Goodpaster. Goodpaster was able to salvage the season after losing quarterback Jared Lorenzen to injury in Week 2, going 5–2 down the stretch, defeating the Dayton Sharks the final week of the season to clinch the final South Division playoff spot. McMorran Arena
McMorran Arena is an entertainment complex in Port Huron, Michigan consisting of a 4,800-seat multi-purpose arena and a theater. It was designed by Alden B. The 2014 Detroit Thunder season is the second season for the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) franchise. In June 2013, the Thunder agreed to terms with the CIFL to return for the 2014 season.
