The 2014 Alabama Senate elections took place on November 4, 2014, as part of the 2014 United States elections. Alabama voters elected senators in all 35 of the state's Senate districts. Steve Livingston is an American politician. A member of the Republican Party, he has served in the Alabama Senate, representing the 8th district since January 2015. In 2023, his Republican colleagues elected him Majority Leader of the Alabama Senate following the resignation of Clay Scofield. Greg Reed
Greg Reed (born June 5, 1965) is an American politician. He serves as a Republican member of the Alabama Senate, representing the 5th District since 2010. He defeated Democrat Brett Wadsworth in the 2010 midterm elections to replace Charles Bishop in the 5th District. As of 2021, he is the Senate's president pro tempore.
