2014 AFC U-19 Championship
The 2014 AFC U-19 Championship was the 38th edition of the biennial international youth football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for players aged 19 and below. Myanmar were approved as hosts of the competition on 25 April 2013. The tournament was held from 9 to 23 October 2014, with the top four teams qualifying for the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand. Qatar won the tournament, and were joined by North Korea, hosts Myanmar, and Uzbekistan as AFC qualifiers for the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Thuwunna Stadium
The Thuwunna Youth Training Center Stadium ( my, သုဝဏ္ဏ လူငယ် လေ့ကျင့်ရေး ကွင်း), simply known as the Thuwunna Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Yangon, Myanmar. It is the venue of choice for most national and international football and track and field competitions. This 32,000-seat stadium is smaller but more up-to-date than the Bogyoke Aung San Stadium.
