2014 4 Hours Of Imola
The 2014 4 Hours of Imola was an endurance motor race held at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari near Imola, Italy on 17–18 May 2014, and served as the second round of the 2014 European Le Mans Series. Car no. 38 driven by Simon Dolan, Harry Tincknell and Filipe Albuquerque won the race overall for Jota Racing, ahead of Sébastien Loeb Racing's Vincent Capillaire and Jan Charouz and Signatech Alpine's Paul-Loup Chatin, Nelson Panciatici and Oliver Webb. The LMGTE category was led by SMP Racing's trio, Andrea Bertolini, Viktor Shaitar and Sergey Zlobin, while Formula Racing's Johnny Laursen, Mikkel Mac and Andrea Piccini were victorious in the GTC class. Imola (; rgn, Jômla or ) is a city and '' comune'' in the Metropolitan City of Bologna, located on the river Santerno, in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. Mikkel Mac Jensen (born 18 December 1992 in Nykøbing Falster) is a Danish racing driver. Career Like many other racing drivers Mac began his racing career in karting. He remained in karting until 2008. In 2009 he began his formula racing career. He started 8 of 16 races in Danish Formula Ford, achieving six podium finishes and two victories. He concluded the season in the seventh position. He also participated in five rounds of Formula BMW Europe, finishing 23rd in the championship. In 2010 Mac moved to the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup, driving for KTR. He won three races and finished runner-up behind Ludwig Ghidi with 340 points. Prospeed Competition is a sports car racing team based in Liège, Belgium. It was founded in 2006 by Rudi Penders and Luc Goris. It has been a factory-supported Porsche team since 2008. The team debuted in the 2006 Belcar Endurance Championship, where it won the 2011 and 2012 drivers championships and the 2009 24 Hours of Zolder. Loris Kessel (1 April 1950 – 15 May 2010) was a racing driver from Switzerland. Biography He was born in Lugano and died in Montagnola following a long illness. He participated in six Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, debuting on 2 May 1976. He scored no championship points. Signatech, formerly known as Signature, is a French auto racing team and racing car constructor that competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship. The team won the FIA European Formula Three Cup in 1999 with Benoît Tréluyer. It won the French Formula Three Championship in 2000 with Jonathan Cochet as driver, who also won the European Cup and Masters of Formula 3 that year, and won the Korea Super Prix for the team in 2001.
