Slovenian Third League
The Slovenian Third Football League ( sl, Tretja slovenska nogometna liga or commonly 3. SNL) is the third tier of the Football in Slovenia, Slovenian football system. Since 2019 the league consists of two regional groups (East and West). They are operated by the Intercommunal Football Associations. Format and rules Between 1992–93 and 1997–98, the Slovenian Third League was divided into two regional groups (East and West), with both group winners directly promoting to the Slovenian Second League (except in the 1994–95 season, when the top two divisions got reorganized). In the 1998–99 season, the league was expanded to four regional groups (Centre, East, North, West). Up to the 2002–03 season, all four group winners were promoted directly to the second division. In the 2003–04 season, a Two-legged tie, two-legged play-offs were introduced, as only two teams promoted. Ptuj
Ptuj (; german: Pettau, ; la, Poetovium/Poetovio) is a town in northeastern Slovenia that is the seat of the Municipality of Ptuj. Ptuj, the oldest recorded city in Slovenia, has been inhabited since the late Stone Age and developed from a Roman military fort. Ptuj was located at a strategically important crossing of the Drava River, along a prehistoric trade route between the Baltic Sea and the Adriatic. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria and it was part of the Austria-Hungarian Empire. Lendava Sports Park
Lendava Sports Park ( sl, Športni park Lendava) is a multi-use stadium in Lendava, Slovenia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of NK Nafta 1903. The stadium, initially built in 1946, was completely rebuilt in 2006 and has a capacity of 2,000 seats. The stadium has a UEFA licence for international matches and is used as one of the main venues for the Slovenian women's national team. Lendava
Lendava (; formerly ''Dolnja Lendava'', in older sources also ''Dolenja Lendava''; hu, Lendva, formerly ''Alsólendva''; german: Lindau, formerly ''Unter-Limbach'') is a town in Slovenia in the region of Prekmurje. It is the seat of the Municipality of Lendava. It is close to the border crossing with Hungary at Dolga Vas–Rédics, and Hungarian is one of the official languages of the municipality, along with Slovene. Malečnik
Malečnik (, german: Maletschnig) is a village on the left bank of the Drava River east of Maribor in northeastern Slovenia. It belongs to the City Municipality of Maribor. There are two churches in the settlement. The local parish church is dedicated to Saint Peter and was first mentioned in documents dating to 1236, but the current building is Baroque and was built in 1740. Ljutomer
Ljutomer (; german: Luttenberg) is a town in northeastern Slovenia, east of Maribor. It is the seat of the Municipality of Ljutomer. Traditionally it was part of the region of Styria. It is now included in the Mura Statistical Region. The economy of Ljutomer is largely based on grape farming and wine making.
