Nogometni klub Nafta 1903 or simply NK Nafta 1903 is a Slovenian football club from Lendava which plays in the Slovenian Second League. The club was founded in 2012 and is legally not considered to be the successor of NK Nafta Lendava and the statistics and honours of the two clubs are kept separate by the Football Association of Slovenia. Nogometni klub Nafta Lendava ( en, Nafta Lendava Football Club), commonly referred to as NK Nafta Lendava or simply Nafta, was a Slovenian Association football, football club which played in the town of Lendava. The club was founded under the Hungarian name Lendvai Football Egyesület in 1903. They were regarded as the oldest Slovenian football club until they filed for bankruptcy and were dissolved following the 2011–12 Slovenian PrvaLiga season. Zalaegerszegi Torna Egylet Football Club (), commonly known as Zalaegerszegi TE, Zalaegerszeg or ZTE, is a football club from the city of Zalaegerszeg in Hungary. Zalaegerszeg has won one Hungarian League title in 2002. History ZTE traces its roots back to 1912, at the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Its first match was a 4–2 defeat to a team from Vasvár. The team was first composed of members of a literary and debating society. ZTE flourished under coach József Vadász, but World War I halted its progress. In 1920, Zalaegerszegi TE, or "Gymanistics Club of Zalaegerszeg," was born. They were defeated in their debut match, losing 2–1 to AK Szombathely on August 21, 1920, but were motivated by a crowd of over 2,000 fans. Mitja Novinič (born 10 April 1991) is a Slovenian footballer who plays as a midfielder. Club career Early career Novinič joined Italian club Milan from Nafta Lendava in June 2007. He spent four seasons in the club's youth system and was a member of the under-20 side who won the Coppa Italia Primavera in 2010, 25 years after the club's last success in the competition. 2016–17 Slovenian Third League
The 2016–17 Slovenian Third League began on 20 August 2016 and ended on 28 May 2017. Competition format and rules The 2016–17 Slovenian Third League was divided into four regional groups with a total of 52 participating clubs. Three groups (i.e. North, Centre, East) were composed of 14 clubs, while the West group had only 10 clubs participating in the competition. On 29 June 2016, the Football Association of Slovenia decided to expand the Slovenian Second League in the 2017–18 season from 10 teams to 16 teams, meaning that in the 2016–17 Slovenian Third League season the top two teams from each group got promoted to the Second League. Also, unlike previous seasons, reserve teams were now able to earn a promotion to the Second League. The number of relegated teams from each group was determined by the number of regional MNZ's from which the clubs in all four groups were part of. Lendava Sports Park
Lendava Sports Park ( sl, Športni park Lendava) is a multi-use stadium in Lendava, Slovenia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of NK Nafta 1903.
