2013–14 Slovenian PrvaLiga
The 2013–14 Slovenian PrvaLiga was the 23rd edition of the Slovenian PrvaLiga since its establishment in 1991. Also known by the abbreviation 1. SNL, PrvaLiga was contested by the top ten clubs in Slovenia, for the title of national champions. The fixture schedule was released on 28 June 2013. The season began on 13 July 2013 and ended on 25 May 2014. Maribor were the defending champions, having won their 11th league title the previous season. The season featured eight teams from the 2012–13 Slovenian PrvaLiga and two teams from the 2012–13 Slovenian Second League, Zavrč, who was promoted directly as the winners of the second division and Krka, which was promoted as a third placed team. The Slovenian PrvaLiga ( sl, Prva slovenska nogometna liga, ), currently named Prva liga Telemach due to sponsorship reasons, also known by the abbreviation 1. SNL, is the top level of the Football in Slovenia, Slovenian football league system. Contested by ten clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Slovenian Second League (2. SNL). Seasons typically run from July to May with each team playing 36 matches. The competition was founded in 1991 after Slovenia became an independent country. From 1920 until the end of the 1990–91 season, the Slovenian Republic League was a lower division within the Yugoslav league system. The league is governed by the Football Association of Slovenia. Domžale Sports Park
Domžale Sports Park ( sl, Športni park Domžale) or Domžale Stadium ( sl, Stadion Domžale) is a multi-purpose stadium located in Domžale, Slovenia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of NK Domžale. The stadium, which was built in 1948, currently holds 3,100 spectators. It was renovated and modernized in 1997 and 1999. Work on the new West Stand started in October 2003 and was finished in April 2004. In June 2006, the stadium received floodlights, mounted on four concrete towers and placed at each corner of the stadium. Nogometno društvo Mura 05, commonly referred to as ND Mura 05 or simply Mura 05, was a Slovenian football club from the town of Murska Sobota. The club was established on 16 June 2005. The club's home ground was Fazanerija City Stadium. The Slovenian Second Football League ( sl, Druga slovenska nogometna liga or commonly 2. SNL) is the second highest Association football, football league in Slovenia. The league was formed in 1991 and is operated by the Football Association of Slovenia. NK Zavrč
Nogometni klub Zavrč or simply NK Zavrč was a Slovenian football club from Zavrč. The club was founded in 1969, but ceased operations in 2016 due to financial difficulties.
