2013–14 División De Honor Femenina De Balonmano
The División de Honor Femenina 2013–14 was the 57th season of women's handball top flight in Spain since its establishment. Itxako, four times champion, were the defending champion but the club was disbanded during 2013's summer. The season began on 13 September, 2013 and the last matchday was played on 17 May, 2014. A total of 14 teams took part the league, 11 of which had already contested in the 2012–13 season, 1 new created team and two of which were promoted from the División de Plata 2012–13. Bera Bera won its second title in a row. Bera Bera won the championship on 10 May with one matchday remaining left to play. División de Honor Femenina de Balonmano or Liga Guerreras Iberdrola after sponsorship of Iberdrola, is the premier women's professional handball league in Spain. It is administered by the Royal Spanish Handball Federation (RFEBM). It was established in 1952, and it is currently contested by twelve teams. The 4 last ranked teams are relegated to División de Honor Oro Femenina, league newly created for the 2022-2023 season. For a long time, the 2nd level of the spanish women's handball pyramid was División de Plata (the 3rd level as of now). Super Amara Bera Bera is the defending champion. O Porriño
O Porriño (historically known in English as ) is a municipality in Galicia (Spain), Galicia, Spain in the province of Pontevedra (province), Pontevedra. An industrial town, in the Vigo metropolitan area, it is an important economic dependency. Clube Balonmán Atlético Guardés, also known as Mecalia Atlético Guardés due to sponsorship reasons is a professional handball club from A Guarda, in the province of Pontevedra, Spain. The club was founded in 1967 and plays actually in the División de Honor Femenina de Balonmano, the premier women's professional handball league in Spain. Alcobendas () is a municipality of Spain located in the Community of Madrid. It forms an urban continuum with the neighbouring municipality of San Sebastián de los Reyes.
