2013–14 AaB Fodbold Season
The 2013–14 season is AaB Fodbold, AaB's 31st consecutive season in the top flight of Danish football, 24th consecutive season in the Danish Superliga, and the 128th year as a Football team, football club. AaB will participate in the 2013–14 UEFA Europa League, Europa League this season, coming in 5th place in the 2012–13 Danish Superliga. The club had the most successful season in its history, winning the 2013–14 Danish Superliga, Danish Superliga for a fourth time and the 2013–14 Danish Cup, Danish Cup for a third time, therefore becoming the fifth Danish club to complete Double (association football), the "Double". AaB, (full name: ''Aalborg Boldspilklub'', ) internationally referred to as Aalborg BK, commonly known internationally as Aalborg BK and occasionally referred to as AaB Aalborg, is a professional football club based in Aalborg, Denmark. The club currently competes in the Danish 1st Division, the second tier of Danish football. AaB is one of the oldest and most historically significant clubs in Danish football, having been founded on 13 May 1885. Initially formed as a cricket club by English railway engineers, the club adopted football in 1902 and has competed under the name ''Aalborg Boldspilklub af 1885'' since 1906. AaB has traditionally been a mainstay in the Danish top flight, and has won the Danish Superliga four times, in 1994–95, 1998–99, 2007–08, and 2013–14.
