2013 Úrvalsdeild
The 2013 Úrvalsdeild karla (English: ''Men's Premier League''), also known as the Pepsi-deild for sponsorship reasons, is the 102nd season of top-flight Icelandic football. Twelve teams will contest the league; the defending champions are FH, who won their sixth league title in 2012. The fixtures for the 2013 campaign were released by the KSÍ on 10 November 2012, while the season is scheduled to run from 5 May until 28 September. Teams The 2013 Úrvalsdeild will be contested by twelve clubs, ten of which played in the division the previous season. The changes from the 2012 campaign are: *Grindavík and Selfoss were relegated from the 2012 Úrvalsdeild to the 2013 1. deild karla. * Þór A. and Víkingur Ó. were promoted from the 2012 1. deild karla to the 2013 Úrvalsdeild. Íþróttabandalag Vestmannaeyja
Íþróttabandalag Vestmannaeyja (ÍBV) is an Icelandic multi-sports district association from Vestmannaeyjar off the south coast of Iceland. It was founded in 1903 as Fótboltafélag Vestmannaeyja by Björgúlfur Ólafsson, military doctor for the Dutch army. It was soon renamed to Knattspyrnufélag Vestmannaeyja (KV) and then to Íþróttabandalag Vestmannaeyja (ÍBV) héraðssamband in 1945. ÍBV played as KV in the first Icelandic first league tournament in 1912. There have been formed several association entities with the ÍBV name to manage various of sports. ÍBV-Íþróttafélag was founded in 1996 to manage football and handball when the youth team clubs Þór and Týr, that where subbrands to KV and then ÍBV for the youth coaching only, where merged. Hafnarfjörður
Hafnarfjörður (), officially Hafnarfjarðarkaupstaður (), is a port town and municipality in Iceland, located about south of Reykjavík. The municipality consists of two non-contiguous areas in the Capital Region, on the southwest coast of the country. Kópavogsvöllur
Kópavogsvöllur () is a multi-use stadium in Kópavogur, Iceland. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home stadium of Breiðablik UBK, Breiðablik. It is also used for track and field events. The stadium holds 3,009 spectators and has 1,709 seats in two stands. The stadium was opened on 7 June 1975, when home team Breiðablik hosted Víkingur Ólafsvík in the old 2nd division. On 9 May 2008, a new stand was opened by Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir, Iceland's Minister of Education, Science and Culture (Iceland), Minister of Education, Science and Culture. Íþróttafélagið Þór, commonly known as Þór Akureyri, simply Þór or Thór, is a multi-sport club in Akureyri, Iceland. It features departments in Basketball, football, Handball and Taekwondo.
