2013 World Cup Of Golf
The 2013 ISPS Handa World Cup of Golf is a golf tournament that was played 21–24 November at Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia. It was the 57th World Cup. The format changed from being a team event to being primarily an individual event with a team component. Sixty players from 34 countries competed in the individual tournament and 26 teams (two-player combined score) competed for the team prize. The total purse was US$8 million, $7 million for the individual competition and $1 million for the teams. The event was a 72-hole stroke play tournament. Official World Golf Ranking points were award for the first time in the World Cup. Jonas Blixt (born 24 April 1984) is a Swedish professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. He is a three-time winner on the PGA Tour, with his most recent win coming at the 2017 Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Branden John Grace (born 20 May 1988) is a professional golfer from South Africa who currently plays for LIV Golf. He formerly played on the European Tour, the PGA Tour, and the Sunshine Tour. Fabián Eduardo Gómez (born 27 October 1978) is an Argentine professional golfer who has played on a number of the world's golf tours including the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, PGA Tour Latinoamérica and the Tour de las Americas. Stephen James Gallacher (born 1 November 1974) is a Scottish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Early life and amateur career Gallacher was born in Dechmont, West Lothian and is the nephew of former European Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher and cousin of Sky Sports news presenter Kirsty Gallacher. Robert-Jan Derksen
Robert-Jan Derksen (born 3 January 1974) is a Dutch professional golfer. Derksen was born in Nijmegen. He won the Dutch Amateur Championship four years in a row from 1993 to 1996 and turned professional in 1996. Derksen began his professional career on the Asian Tour in 1997. At the end of the year, he returned to Europe and earned his European Tour card for the 1998 season via qualifying school. Brendon de Jonge (born 18 July 1980) is a professional golfer from Zimbabwe. He currently plays on the PGA Tour. He played collegiate golf at Virginia Tech.
