The 2013 S.League season is Woodlands Wellington's 18th competitive and consecutive season in the top flight of Singapore football and 26th year in existence as a football club. Key dates * 19 November 2012: Woodlands Wellington FC announced that it had signed veteran custodian Yazid Yasin. The goalkeeper has previously played for the Rams between 2004 and 2008 before joining Geylang United during the 2009 S.League season. Woodlands Wellington FC
Woodlands Wellington Football Club is an inactive professional football club which played in the S.League, the top division of football in Singapore. They are based in Woodlands at the 4,300 seater Woodlands Stadium, where they have played since their establishment. Woodlands Wellington FC's honours include winning the inaugural Singapore League Cup in 2007, defeating Sengkang Punggol FC 4–0 in the final. They also finished runners-up in the Singapore FA Cup in 1997, and also in the Singapore Cup in 2005 and 2008 and won the President's Centennial Cup in 1998, a cup competition organized by the Philippine Football Federation to celebrate the centennial of Philippine Independence by defeating Hong Kong Rangers FC 2–1 in the final in Bacolod. Laakkad Abdelhadi
Laakkad Abdelhadi (born 27 April 1977) is a Moroccan retired professional footballer. He played for Pro Duta FC in the Liga Indonesia Premier Division (LPIS). He previously played for Woodlands Wellington FC in the S.League. He is the all-time top goalscorer for Woodlands Wellington, whom he played for in the S.League between 2006 and 2008, and again in 2010. Career Woodlands Wellington FC Laakkad was introduced to the S.League in 2006 when he was signed up from KAC Marrakech as one of Woodlands Wellington's foreigners for the 2006 S.League season. The Malaysia Premier League ( ms, Liga Premier) was the second-tier professional Association football, football league in Malaysia. The league replaced the former second-tier league, Liga Perdana 2 in the Malaysian football league system. The Malaysia Premier League was contested by 12 clubs where the season usually ran from early February to late October, with a Ramadan break for a month depending on the Islamic calendar. Sri Pahang Football Club () is a Malaysian professional football club based in Kuantan, Pahang. Founded in 1959 and has traditionally worn a yellow home kit since. Johor Darul Ta'zim Football Club or simply JDT is a professional football club based in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. The club was founded in 1972 as PKENJ FC and currently competes in the top division of Malaysian football, the Malaysia Super League. The club is owned by Tunku Ismail Idris. The Malaysia Super League ( ms, Liga Super Malaysia) is the men's top professional football division of the Malaysian football league system. Administered by the Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP), now known as the Malaysian Football League (MFL), the Malaysia Super League is contested by twelve teams that operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Malaysia Premier League, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated and replaced by the promoted top two teams in that division. is a Japanese football player. He has played for Albirex Niigata Singapore FC, Woodlands Wellington and Hougang United FC in the S.League, primarily as a defensive midfielder. He can also operate effectively as a deep-lying playmaker. Shimono is known for his distribution of the ball and technical ability. Albirex Niigata Singapore FC, abbreviated as Albirex Niigata (S), is a Singaporean football club that plays in the Singapore Premier League. The club is a satellite team of Albirex Niigata of Japan. Prime League
The Prime League was the reserve and youth team soccer league of Singapore's S.League. Teams involved in the league are primarily made up of youth players from the S.League clubs. The Prime League was founded in 1997. S.League clubs are required to participate, and clubs who do not play at S.League level are also eligible to enter. In 2018, the Prime League was abolished, with the National Football League (NFL) installed as the second-tier competition. Participation rules All S.League teams had to register a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 20 players for the Prime League. Clubs not participating in the S.
