2013 Women's Junior Pan-American Volleyball Cup
The 2013 Women's Junior Pan-American Volleyball Cup was the second edition of the bi-annual volleyball, women's volleyball tournament, played by eight countries from March 18 – 23, 2013 in Havana, Cuba. María Marín
María Alejandra Marín Verhelst (born 4 November 1995) is a Colombian volleyball player. She is part of the Colombia women's national volleyball team. Career With Bolivar, she won the 2010 Colombian Youth National Championship and the 2010 Colombian Junior Championship. She claimed the fifth place in the 2010 Youth South American Championship held in Peru. She won the silver medal in the 2011 Colombia Junior Championship, representing Bolivar and later she won with Bolivar the 2011 Inter Schools Championships. 2013 In the 2013 Copa Latina, she won with her national team the gold medal and the Best Setter award. María Ángela Leyva Tagle (born November 22, 1996, in Lima, Peru) is a peruvian volleyball player who plays for the Peru national team. At the age of 14 she had already been in all categories of Peru's national team, Child (U16), Youth (U18), Junior (U20) and Senior. Leyva was captain of the team that won gold at the 2012 Youth South American Championship, the first gold medal for Peruvian volleyball in that category after 32 years and the first gold in any category in 19 years. 2013 FIVB Women's Junior World Championship
The 2013 Women's Junior Volleyball World Championship was held in Czech Republic, for ten days between from 21 to 30 June 2013. This was the first edition of the tournament that features 20 teams. __TOC__ Qualification process Competition Formula The 20 teams will be divided into four pools of five teams each and will play a round-robin tournament. The bottom-ranked team of each pool will play classification matches for 17th-20th place in a round-robin system. The other 16 teams progress to the Eight Finals which consists of a playoff (1st of Pool A against 4th of Pool B etc.). The winners of the playoff matches will advance to the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals to be classified from 1st to 8th while the losers of playoff match will play classification matches, with a similar quarterfinals, semifinals and finals system, to be classified from 9th to 16th. Camila Gómez (born ) is a Colombian volleyball player for the Grand Rapids Rise of the Pro Volleyball Federation and the Colombia women's national volleyball team. She played the 2013 FIVB U20 World Championship and the 2015 FIVB U23 World Championship. She won the silver bronze medal in the 2015 South American Championship and the silver in the 2017 edition being awarded Best Libero in both senior tournaments. Coliseo Eduardo Dibos
The Coliseo Eduardo Dibos is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in San Borja, Lima, Peru, exactly between Angamos Ave. and Aviacion Ave. The arena has a capacity for 4,600 people. This arena is used to host sport events as volleyball and basketball, also many other secondary sports. It is also used for circus events and Bugs Bunny on Ice in August 2006. The Dibos Coliseum, with the Coliseo Mariscal Caceres, are the most important venues for non- football sports in Lima. This venue also hosts concerts as in 1994 the Gaitan Castro brothers were the first Peruvian artists to sell out the arena for a concert.
