Anirban Lahiri
Anirban Lahiri (born 29 June 1987) is an Indian professional golfer. He has played on the Asian Tour, European Tour, PGA Tour and LIV Golf. Lahiri is recipient of the 2014 Arjuna Award. He is also recipient of "Sera Bangali" award (in 2015), given by the ''Anandabazar Patrika''. Early life Lahiri hails from a Bengali family. He learned to play golf at the age of eight from his father, Dr. Tushar Lahiri, who was a physician with the armed forces and a recreational golfer. "I would just go out there and I would go pick up golf balls for him, and we would go chip, putt for 15 minutes because it was getting dark," Lahiri remembers. "That's how it all started." SAIL-SBI Open
The SAIL-SBI Open was a golf tournament on the Asian Tour, played in India between 2008 and 2014. It was co-sanctioned by the Professional Golf Tour of India. The title sponsors were Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) and State Bank of India (SBI). The inaugural tournament was played at Jaypee Greens Golf Resort in Greater Noida, before moving to the Jack Nicklaus designed Signature Course at Classic Golf Resort, just outside Gurgaon, near New Delhi in 2009. Rahil Gangjee (born 2 October 1978) is a professional golfer from India who currently plays on the Asian Tour, where he has two victories. Early life and amateur career Gangjee was born in Calcutta, but now resides in Bengaluru. He was educated at La Martiniere Calcutta. He had a decorated amateur career that included the 1997 Sri Lankan Amateur and the East India Amateur in 1997, 1998 and 2000. He would soon become India's number one amateur in 1999. Wade Ormsby (born 31 March 1980) is an Australian professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and on the LIV Golf Invitational Series.
