2013 Pro12 Grand Final
The 2013 Pro12 Grand Final was the final match of the 2012–13 Pro12 season. The 2012–13 season was the second with RaboDirect as title sponsor and the fourth ever League Grand Final. Leinster won the game 24–18 against Ulster. The win for Leinster ended a run of three successive league final losses. A Shane Jennings try in the first half helped Leinster to a 16-6 half-time lead, with Jamie Heaslip getting the second try in the second half. It was Johnny Sexton's final match for Leinster before joining Racing Métro, and also coach Joe Schmidt's last match before taking over as head coach of the Irish rugby team. 2012–13 Pro12
The 2012–13 Pro12 League (also known as the ''RaboDirect Pro12'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 12th season of the rugby union competition originally known as the Celtic League, the third with its current 12-team format, and the second with RaboDirect as title sponsor. Ospreys were the defending champions, but they failed to qualify for the end-of-season playoffs. The twelve teams that competed were the four Irish teams, Munster, Leinster, Connacht and Ulster; two Scottish teams, Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors; four Welsh teams, Cardiff Blues, Newport Gwent Dragons, Ospreys and Scarlets; and two Italian teams, Benetton Treviso and newly created Zebre. The title was won by Leinster, defeating Ulster 24–18 in the final. Tommy Bowe
Thomas John Bowe (born 22 February 1984) is an Irish former rugby union player from County Monaghan, Ireland. He played on the wing for Ulster, Ireland and the British & Irish Lions. In March 2012, after four years with Ospreys in Swansea, Wales, he returned to Ulster for the 2012/13 season. After his playing career, Bowe has taken up television presenting, and is a host of morning television show ''Ireland AM''. Pascal Gaüzère
Pascal Gaüzère (born 23 April 1977) is a retired referee from Montfort-en-Chalosse in France who represented the French Rugby Federation at international level in refereeing. He officiated at the highest level from 2006 to 2021, refereeing matches in the club tournaments, Top 14, Pro12, Challenge Cup, and Heineken Cup. He made his international refereeing debut in 2009, when he refereed the match between Tonga under-20s and Wales under-20s in the 2009 IRB Junior World Championship. He was once again on the IRB panel for the 2010 IRB Junior World Championship, refereeing several matches including the final between Australia under-20s and New Zealand under-20s. Stuart Hogg (rugby Player)
Stuart Hogg (born 24 June 1992) is a Scottish rugby union player who plays for Exeter Chiefs in the English Premiership and used to captain the Scottish national team. His playing positions are fullback and fly-half. Hogg has twice been named Six Nations Player of the Tournament, in 2016 and 2017. He has been selected to tour with the British & Irish Lions on three consecutive occasions (2013, 2017 and 2021). Mark Stewart Bennett (born 3 February 1993) is a Scottish rugby union footballer who plays as a centre for Edinburgh Rugby in the United Rugby Championship. Nikola Matawalu (born 8 March 1989) is a Fiji international rugby union player. He plays in the scrum-half position but can also cover wing. He plays for US Montauban in the French Rugby Pro D2. Glasgow Warriors are a professional rugby union side from Scotland. The team plays in the United Rugby Championship league and in the European Professional Club Rugby tournaments. Alain Colm Pierre Rolland (born 22 August 1966) is a former Ireland rugby union international and rugby union referee. He also played for Leinster. He refereed the final of the 2007 Rugby World Cup, and was an assistant referee in the final of the 2011 Rugby World Cup. Ravenhill Stadium (known as the Kingspan Stadium for sponsorship reasons) is a rugby stadium located in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It is the home of Ulster Rugby. Gareth Davies (born 18 August 1990) is a Wales international rugby union player currently playing for the Scarlets. His position is scrum-half. He is a fluent Welsh speaker. Davies went to Ysgol Gyfun Dyffryn Teifi in Llandysul before studying Sports Development and Coaching at Coleg Sir Gar in Llanelli. He has been with the Scarlets since he joined the academy in 2006.
