2013 Korean Basketball League Draft
The 2013 Korean Basketball League rookie draft (Korean: 2013 KBL 국내신인선수 드래프트) was held on September 30, 2013, at the Jamsil Students' Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea. Out of the 39 players who participated in the draft, 22 were selected. Changwon LG Sakers won the lottery for the first overall pick. Draft selections ''This table only shows the first twenty picks.'' Players The draft has been dubbed the " Kyung Hee draft" due to the fact that the first three overall picks were from Kyung Hee University, breaking the monopoly of the traditional college basketball "big 3" (Yonsei University, Korea University and Chung-Ang University). Jamsil Students' Gymnasium
Jamsil Students' Gymnasium () is an indoor sporting arena located in Seoul, South Korea. The capacity of the arena is 7,500 and was built from November 1972 to December 1976 to host Boxing events at the 1986 Asian Games and 2-years later the same sport on the 1988 Summer Olympics, and wheelchair basketball events at the 1988 Summer Paralympics. The Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus is a professional basketball club in the Korean Basketball League. History Foundation and amateur era Before the professional Korean Basketball League was established in 1997, domestic basketball was an amateur sport and teams were sponsored by corporate companies or private universities. Jeon Jun-beom (born August 27, 1991) is a South Korean professional basketball player. He plays for Jeonju KCC Egis in the Korean Basketball League and the South Korean national team.
