2013 Gracia-Orlová
The 2013 Gracia–Orlová is the 27th edition of the Gracia–Orlová, a women's cycling stage race. It is an Union Cycliste Internationale, UCI 2.2 category race and is held between 24 and 28 April 2012 in the Czech Republic. It consists of a prologue and 5 stages. Stages Prologue ;25 April 2012 – Havířov to Havířov (individual time trial), The prologue started in Havířov located in the east of the Republic, only 12 km from the Polish border and less than 40 km from Slovakia at 17:00 local time. The prologue was and consisted of a straight kilometer followed by a few technical turns and again back the straight kilometer to the finish line. Ellen van Dijk won the prologue, just as in the 2012 Gracia–Orlová. Behind Van Dijk her teammate Lisa Brennauer finished second Aleksandra Burchenkova finished third. Ellen Van Dijk
Eleonora Maria "Ellen" van Dijk (; born 11 February 1987) is a Dutch professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . Besides road cycling she was also a track cyclist until 2012. Van Dijk is known as a time trial specialist and is five times world champion. She won her first world title on the track in the scratch race in 2008. She became Road World Champion in 2012, 2013 and 2016 with her respective trade teams in the team time trial and in 2013 also in the individual time trial. In 2015, she won the time trial at the first European Games and the silver medal in the team time trial at the world championships. Van Dijk started as a speed skater and as part of her skating training she undertook cycling as part of cross-training in summer. She excelled at both, competing nationally at junior level. Albrechtice (Karviná District)
Albrechtice (, pl, , german: Albersdorf) is a municipality and village in the Karviná District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 3,800 inhabitants. Polish minority makes up 15.7% of the population. Etymology The name of the village is patronymic in origin, derived from the personal name ''Albrecht'', meaning "Albrecht's village". Stonava
Stonava ( pl, , german: Steinau) is a municipality and village in Karviná District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,800 inhabitants. The municipality has a significant Polish minority. Etymology The name is of topographic origin, derived from the older name of the Stonávka River, which itself denoted ''a murmuring river''. Tatiana Andreyevna Antoshina (born 27 July 1982) is a Russian road bicycle racer. Tayler Wiles (born July 20, 1989) is an American racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . She rode at the 2014 UCI Road World Championships. Wiles originally played soccer until she entered the University of Utah as a pre-medical student at the age of 18. Štramberk (; german: Stramberg) is a town in Nový Jičín District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 3,500 inhabitants.
