2013 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl
The 2013 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl was an American college football bowl game that was played on December 21, 2013 at Bronco Stadium on the campus of Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. The seventeenth annual Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, it featured the Buffalo Bulls of the Mid-American Conference against the San Diego State Aztecs of the Mountain West Conference. It began at 3:30 p.m. MST and aired on ESPN. It was one of the 2013–14 bowl games that concluded the 2013 FBS football season. San Diego State defeated Buffalo, 49–24. Teams The Bulls accepted their invitation after earning an 8–4 record in their season, while the Aztecs accepted their invitation after earning a 7–5 record in theirs. Bronco Stadium
Albertsons Stadium is an outdoor athletic stadium in the western United States, located on the campus of Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. It is the home field of the Boise State Broncos of the Mountain West Conference. Known as Bronco Stadium for its first 44 seasons, it was renamed in May 2014 when Albertsons, a chain of grocery stores founded by Boise area resident Joe Albertson, purchased the naming rights. Eric Pinkins (born August 7, 1991) is a former American football linebacker and safety. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Natnael Sabhato Berhe (born July 6, 1991) is a former American football free safety. He was drafted by the New York Giants in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at San Diego State. Early years Berhe was born in Fontana, California, and attended Colton High School. His mother, Judy, is African American; his father, Berhe Asfaha, emigrated from Eritrea in 1970. During his youth, his family owned a gas station. Terry Poole (born February 27, 1992) is an American football offensive tackle for the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League (USFL).
