2013 Azerbaijan Supercup ( az, 2013 Futbol üzrə Azərbaycan Superkuboku) was the 4th edition of the Azerbaijan Supercup since its establishment in 1992. The match was contested between the 2012–13 Azerbaijan Premier League champions Neftchi Baku and the 2012–13 Azerbaijan Cup finalists Khazar Lankaran. Azerbaijan Supercup
The Azerbaijan Supercup ( az, Azərbaycan Milli Futbol Superkuboku) was a football competition, held at the beginning of each domestic season and disputed between the winners of the Azerbaijan Premier League and the winners of the Azerbaijan Cup. It was held in 1993–1995 period as "Sahar" Supercup. From 1996 the competition became inactive. The competition was reestablished in 2013, although it is not held since. History Neftchi Baku holds the record for winning the Supercup the most times, winning it two times since the competition began in 1993. In 1994, Qarabağ were awarded automatically with the Supercup after the team won both the domestic title and the Azerbaijan Cup. In 2013, the Professional Football League of Azerbaijan decided to restore the Azerbaijan Supercup. Khazar Lankaran were the first winners of the restored Supercup. Mahir Shukurov
Mahir Shukurov ( az, Mahir Ağateyyub oğlu Şükürov; born 12 December 1982 in Sumgayit) is a retired Azerbaijani footballer. Career Club Shukurov has been regular player for Inter Baku since 2009. He has also have played for clubs like FK Karvan, Olimpik Baku, Neftchi Baku, Khazar Lankaran, as well as for the Turkish club Antalyaspor. Tarlan Ahmadov ( az, Tərlan Musa oğlu Əhmədov, born 17 November 1971) is a retired Azerbaijani international football defender who was captain of the national team. During his international career he earned 73 caps, ranking him fourth in Azerbaijan's all time appearances. Ernest Webnje Nfor (born 28 April 1986 in Cameroon), known as Nfor, is a Cameroonian professional footballer, who currently plays for Belgian club KSV Temse as a striker. Melvin Platje (; born 16 December 1988) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a forward for AFC.
