The 2012–13 Polish Cup was the 56th edition of the Polish Volleyball Cup tournament. ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle won their fourth trophy in club history after beating Asseco Resovia in the final (3–1). Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. The receiving team must not let the ball be grounded within their court. Paweł Zagumny (born 18 October 1977) is a Polish former professional volleyball player. He was a member of the Poland men's national volleyball team, Poland national team in 1996–2014. Łukasz Wiśniewski
Łukasz Wiśniewski (born 3 February 1989) is a Polish professional volleyball player who plays as a middle blocker for Skra Bełchatów. He is a former member of the Poland national team. Personal life Wiśniewski was born in Włodawa. His mother trained handball and his father is a former footballer. On 10 May 2014, Wiśniewski married Katarzyna (née Łuszczewska). On 2 January 2017, his wife gave birth to their daughter Aleksandra. Career National team Wiśniewski made his debut in the Poland national team on 30 May 2010 in a friendly match against France. Krzysztof Ignaczak (born 15 May 1978) is a Polish former professional volleyball player. He was a member of the Poland national team in 1998–2014. Piotr Marcin Gacek (born 16 September 1978) is a former Polish volleyball player, member of the Poland men's national volleyball team in 2005–2010 and 2015–2016, 2009 European Champion, silver medallist of the 2006 World Championship, two–time Polish Champion (2009, 2010). Michał Zygmunt Ruciak (born 22 August 1983) is a Polish former professional volleyball player. He was a member of the Poland national team from 2004 to 2014, a participant in the Olympic Games London 2012, the 2009 European Champion and the 2012 World League winner. The Polish Men's Volleyball SuperCup is an annual competition for volleyball clubs in Poland played by the PlusLiga champions and Polish Cup winners. It is overseen by the Polish Volleyball Federation ( pl, Polski Związek Piłki Siatkowej) and the Professional Volleyball League SA ( pl, Profesjonalna Liga Piłki Siatkowej S.A.).
